Once he spoke about the festival of lights, he noticed the slight hesitation and he laughed a bit, trying to keep the pain inside. “It’s alright if you don’t want to go with me,” he said. As she explained that they always went and seemed shocked that he asked her to go with him, he nodded. “Of course, it all depends on plans,” he said. As she added that she would love to see the families, he nodded. “Yeah, it would be nice,” he stated. He blinked and grinned at her. “I hope you do decide to go with me. Throw those plans away.” he stated, with a wink and a grin at her.

He laughed. “Of course, less competition. Can’t have anyone else in my way,” he said, laughing. As she pushed herself off the wall, August crossed his arms and grinned at her. “You should tell him to get lost. Father did teach me how to hide things without them being found,” he stated, laughing a bit. There was some seriousness in his voice. As she giggled at the mention of his frying pan, he pulled it out. “I hit one of the boys in the village because he was staring at you inappropriately,” he stated. He flipped it in his hand and put it back on his back.

“I promise not to attack you with my pan, but as for trying  not to kiss you, I’m not promising that. Why? Are your lips off limits for kissing?” he asked, laughing. He offered her his arm and led the way out of the club.

Fleur couldn’t help but to chuckle once more as she watched him spin the frying pan a couple of times “A lot of people are staring at me inappropriately nowadays ~ are you going to follow me around everywhere hitting every single one of them with it?” she teased of course before shaking her head. 

He hadn’t changed much from the last time she saw him --- It was nice, but it was weird how just a random piece of her past could reappear in her life like that. But it was nice to see a familiar face among the crowds of unknown people who came crashing around her like waves in the ocean. A soft sigh brushed past her lips as she reached out to take a hold of his arm and walked with him out of the club, sending a quick text over to her friend so that way she didn’t worry about her since she was leaving with someone else. 

“August..”, she spoke softly as she gave his arm a gentle squeeze. “I guess I could go with you back home to see the festival” --- she mentioned in a soft tone, her gaze shifting up so she could look to him again. “I’d like to see it anyways.. It’s been forever. Maybe the last time was when we were fourteen, fifteen?” she shrugged her shoulders up a bit and smiled small.

He saw her from afar. She was hard to miss in that kitty cat costume. She was beautiful and he couldn’t help but fall more and more in love with her. He watched her for a few moments before finally approaching her. He needed to talk to her and it couldn’t wait. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath and made his way over to her.

“you look nice.” He said, walking over to her. He was shirtless and was wearing a pair of ripped skinny jeans and boots and just wings on his back. She looked so much better than him he thought. He smiled at her. “Like, you look fucking sexy, is what I’m trying to say.” he said.

Why had he come over to her? Ah, now he remembered. “Hey, Fleur, can we talk alone?” he asked, offering her his hand. He really had to talk to her and he felt like he was going to lose her before he had a chance. He had to take the chances given to him  and he would attempt to tell her how he felt.

Hopefully, it would go well.

Fleur was literally dancing all by herself, drink in hand as she kept her eyes focused in on a few individuals --- It wasn’t as if she were watching, just curious really. Tipping the can of beer back, she took dignified sips from it before hearing a familiar voice behind her. With furrowed brows the female turned on her heels and faced the other, the can of beer still resting against her lips. 

“Oh, August~” 

She chuckled softly, removing the alcohol back from her lips as she smiled small in his direction --- Eyes going wide as she saw his costume. “Oh wow... look at you.. what are you?” She literally walked around him, fingers touching the feathers of his wings before making her way back to stand in front of him. “That’s so neat!”, she giggled. “Sexy? Ahhh, there’s sexier people here.. “

Fleur took another sip from her beer, finishing it off and tossing the can away as she reeled over the idea of talking with him alone. “Uhm...”, she bit down on her lower lip and glanced around her, feeling as if there were a certain pair of eyes on her already. “Sure.. We can talk”, she motioned towards a bench closest to the fire before smiling.

Some of the members have been bugging us for another Meme Day and we’re finally here for it! This week’s theme is angsty text messages and we’re hoping it’ll spice up activity on the dash especially since we’ve been seeing a lot of new ships rise. Think of it as messages you could be sending before, during and after our All Hallow’s Eve Bonfire wink wink.

Gasping, if his hands hadn’t been otherwise occupied, he would’ve slapped one against onyx fringe covered forehead. “Of course, how could I forget?” He supposed having a partner wasn’t nearly as terrifying as he’d made it out to be. Fleur was already catching things he’d missed and it seemed like they were completely on the same page. The beginnings of internal panic were stomped down as she came closer, rapid blinks and a quick lowering of his head being the only signs. Despite having revealed himself a while ago, the timid teenager was still fighting the habits of years upon years built up insecurities and safeguards against being found out when the evidence was now in plain view. “Sounds like a plan to me. I’ll get her safely stowed away for now and meet you later then. Maybe we can grab some take out in town and come up with a schedule over that?”

Half of him was already itching to snap a dozen photos of the kitten and send the best to his favorite cheerleader. While he was thinking about it, a slight frown fluttered over lips as he realized he wouldn’t have very much time to see her with all the plans that night. Well, it couldn’t be helped and she had much more important friends to hang out with rather than just being plagued by him all the time.

With a light start that jostled his precious cargo awake, the elder cocked his head at the chosen name. “Abella’s quite lovely. I knew you’d be wonderful at this!” The Hood hadn’t been aware that cats had last names too and had to bury a chuckle at the thought of the almost Abella Wolf, kitty cat. “If you don’t have any activities tonight, see you in the courtyard around four?” With an impish grin, callused digits tenderly lifted little paw to wave a playful goodbye. “Bye bye!”

Fleur nodded her head, “I’ll see you around four in the courtyard then ~”, with that she waved back at him but was only surprised whenever he had lifted the paw of their kitten up and waved that instead. “Oh my ~ I’m going to die from a cuteness overdose before this project is over with”, she laughed at herself and continued to wave before she vanished to finish off the rest of the days classes and activities. 

Four o’clock

She hurried herself towards the courtyard where she had promised to meet the other so they could venture off towards the town to get whatever they might need for their precious little Abella baby. Fleur had been taking notes all day long during classes on things she knew that they would need to make sure they did this right. They couldn’t simply allow their baby to be treated any less than they would want to be treated, and of course the best of the best was sure to ensue for the kitten. 

“Hey~!”, she waved excitedly as she made her way over towards the male and smiled brightly --- “Are you ready?”, she questioned curiously as she removed the list she had made from her back pocket and began to unfold it so she could show him. “I kind of made a list from what we were saying we needed earlier for her.. Do you want to add anything else on there or just wing it whenever we get to the store?” --- Either way, Fleur was okay with this. She came prepared with enough money to buy the kitten her own palace if she saw it fit. She was just a bit too excited for this entire project, and honestly more than happy to be able to be doing this with him. As her gaze lifted she stared over the other and smiled even more, pearly white shone bright. This definitely gave her the best opportunity to know him better since she was lacking in the friend department --- The only friend she really had was Scarlet, and then of course they haven’t had a chance to hang out a lot lately. So this was absolutely nice in her eyes.
