I have quit Tumblr. It was a good run over the... idk. Way too many years. Long gone are the days where you could make a simple IC comment on the dash and all sorts of things would happen, from crack to serious. Long gone are people who actually give a fuck and aren't in it for popularity numbers and 99% graphics aesthetic.
These are the days of people not having a single ounce of common courtesy, witch hunts, not giving two shits unless you're in the 'in' clique or play a popular character of the week and ship all the popular flavour of the months.
Everything is take take take and give nothing in return now. High expectations yet not wanting to meet halfway. Tumblr as a RPC, as collaborative writing community, is long dead imo.
If you've written with me in the past however many years; Thank you. If you've followed just to read my roleplays; Thank you. I hope they brought some enjoyment to your life for just a little while. If you've ever plotted with me and nothing became of it or you ghosted me; I hope you can better yourself. It's hard to say no or refuse something, I know, but it's better than silence.
I'll probably still write on Discord with close friends only, but otherwise my time on Tumblr is done. Please don't ask questions on my decision, either here or Discord if you have it. I will not respond to them. If you want to unfriend, leave or delete servers, please go ahead, I won't chase you up about it.
I'm old. I'm tired. I'm done.
