I don’t care how popular you think you are, or how important social media has made you feel. The best of us hold these cultural tenants dear to our hearts and will not allow them to be mixed, diluted or tampered with because of your feelings. This culture is still and will always be a show and prove culture.

Meaning one day, when you make it beyond the comforts and confinements of the internet, or away from the people who may not be honest with you, the best of us are going to challenge you. Your knowledge, your wisdom, your understanding, your application, all of it will eventually have to show and prove.

This isn’t personal, so please don’t feel special in your examination. This is how we maintain the integrity of this good thing we got going on. Nobody should be above being questioned, corrected, or required to demonstrate what they claim to know.

So until that day comes for each and every one of us, you may know what you call yourself, but you won’t truly know if you are one of US until then. Surviving the hot seat is a rites of passage. This weak anti bully 85 culture can’t change that. This is our form of natural selection.
