New FNaPF - Urban Legends story: Lockdown
The day is currently the 2nd of August, 2019. Michael Afton has been attending high school and focusing on his assignments, unaware of the
Yes, I know I said before that Iâm taking a break from Five Nights at Prototype Fredbear's (FNaPF) development, but I never said anything about quitting the Urban Legends series. So yes, content will still be made.
Also, from now on, all entries will link to the stories on Spiral Nightmares, as I really donât want to do what I did for Breaking and Entering and just post stories via PDF files. That took too much work and was very time-consuming. To make things easier, you can simply read them on the wiki where all of my creepypastas go.
I will return to Five Nights at Prototype Fredbear's 3 when I build up the courage. The project isnât going anywhere. (Though bad news: no other games will probably be released afterwards, just because of the lack of engagement with the series.)
This is where I start venting (and somewhat rantingâwhich is tame, of course, as it comes from care and love for this project).
I really love and care for this series. Iâm proud of it, and I love seeing my work being interacted with (via YouTube recordings, etc.). But I canât help feeling like I created wasted potential. Like, you guys seem to handle Five Nights at Wario's-related stuff (which FNaPF has similar elements to), but not FNaPF stuff too? I know itâs not the same, but stillâitâs sad. It would help a lot if you shared the series with friends, got them to follow, and helped spread the word. That would definitely motivate me to return.
I get that you donât want me to push myself, and you understand that I donât want to do this right now because game design is hard. But motivation mattersâand lack of it has been the main reason I stopped. So how did I eventually create FNaPF 1 and 2?
Answer: you guys motivated me.
And how will I create the third gameâor even more games?
Motivation, and your support.
Iâm not trying to begâjust a simple follow (which anyone can do; you donât even need to play the games) would mean a lot. Make an account, hit follow, and Iâll be more than happy to finally get back to work. My milestone is for the games to reach at least 10 followers or more.
No, Iâm not lyingâthe same thing happened with the first two. But guess what? Thanks to any kind of shown support, I started working again and released them both for you guys to enjoy.
