If you love mini-golf and beer, you’ll love Putt N’ Crawl, the bi-annual Jacksonville Beach bar golf event benefitting local charities.

Gather a team of friends and travel through 13 Jax Beach bars, each with a challenging mini-golf hole built by a local charity, followed by an after party at Freebird Live. Tickets are $25 (or you can buy at a discounted $15 with all proceeds benefitting First Coast No More Homeless Pets here).

Check-in starts at 1 p.m. and the event ends around 9 p.m.

Catch the U.S. Men's Soccer team players tonight at a free, open practice starting at 5 p.m. at Everbank Field before their final match on U.S. soil before the World Cup.

Fans can stop by to see the team in action and give them some well-wishing before they head to South America for the World Cup.

No cafeteria showdowns here - just the annual FOODFIGHT benefit event featuring more than 60 local restaurants set in Everbank Field's Touchdown Club East.

Starting at 6:30 p.m., local restaurants and caterers will go head-to-head in a battle for guests' stomachs in order to raise money to help fight hunger throughout our communities through Nourishment Network. Besides signature dishes and specialty cocktails, there will be live entertainment courtesy Be Easy. More than 1,200 people are expected to attend.

Tickets are $60 in advance, $70 at the door. All proceeds from the event benefit Nourishment Network.

Break out the nametags, it's time to Network After Work; the bi-monthly event that invites professionals of every industry and career level to get together in a casual setting and connect over drinks and light appetizers.

Latitude 30 is hosting the May event, with drinks and light appetizers starting at 6 p.m. and networking until 9 p.m.

Entrance to the event costs $12 if bought in advance, $15 at the door with an RSVP or $20 if you show up without an RSVP. 

Dare to bare your underwear (on the outside of your regular clothes) for a great cause. Engine 15 Brewing Company is hosting a fundraiser event benefiting Dignity U Wear's Undie Campaign tonight starting at 5:30 p.m.

In celebration of the partnership, the brewery is serving up a beer specially brewed for the event - Ale for Undie. All proceeds from every purchase of the brew will be donated to provide basic clothing to school children, women in crisis and veterans.

Experience a new generation of filmmakers at the 2014 World Arts Film Festival this weekend in downtown Jacksonville. The festival will feature more than 100 short films, expert panels, workshops, an award ceremony and after parties all at the Jacksonville Main Library.

Presented by the non-profit organization World Arts Education, this event invites both established film masters and first-time directors to come out, meet other film fans and find mentors.

There's no denying that crossfit has taken the nation by storm, and there's even several gyms right here in Jacksonville to prove it.

If you practice crossfit or just enjoy watching other people do ridiculously brutal feats of fitness, head over to the Veterans Memorial Arena today and tomorrow to catch the Reebok Crossfit Southeast Regional competition starting at 9 a.m.

After months of speculation and commentary, it's finally time for the NFL's teams to make their picks for the 2014 draft. Who will be joining the Jags' roster this year? You'll just have to find out by stopping by the annual Draft Day party hosted by Bud Light at Everbank Field, starting tonight at 6 p.m. and lasting until 10 p.m.

Admission is free but fans must register for a ticket in order to enter the event. Jaguars players will be celebrating with their fans, signing autographs, dancing and taking part in a Q&A session. There will also be raffle prizes and one lucky fan will win free suite seats to the Jags' opening game.

It's a great week to check out Ponte Vedra Beach and TPC Sawgrass.

The PLAYERS Championship is wrapping up its practice rounds with a free performance from country music star Jake Owen as part of the annual Military Appreciation Day celebrations.

The concert starts at 5:30 p.m. on the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse lawn. Parking and admission are free, so get there early to catch some of your favorite pro golfers wrapping up their preparations to take the championship title.

The PLAYERS Championship is just days away and you can get a behind-the-scenes look of what’s happening on the course by lacing up your shoes and running in the PLAYERS 5K event this morning.

Runners get to experience the stadium course free of crowds, taking in the famous island green at 17 and the back nine holes as they run to benefit breast cancer research.

Tickets include a performance race t-shirt, post-race party with music, food and drinks, one Grounds Ticket to the PLAYERS Championship on Sunday with free admission to the 5K with Donna Courtyard.

If you haven't made it a monthly tradition, why not start off May with some good 'ol sack-tossing fun for the Jacksonville Scene Cornhole Tournament. The tournament takes place the first Friday of every month at Bold City Grill, located at the Sheraton in Southside.

Join First Coast No More Homeless Pets for a Mega Pet Adoption Event today anytime from 10 a.m. through 6 p.m. at the Jacksonville Expo Center at the Fairgrounds.

There will be more than 1,000 adoptable pets, with an adoption fee of $20 that includes spay/neuter, a microchip, vaccines and a city license.

Add some fire to your Friday night with the latest offering in the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra's Friday Night Concert Series, "The Firebird."

Described as the "fun side" of Soviet-era music, the concert features works that show Stravinsky's vividness, Prokofiev's energy, Khachaturian's rhythm and Shostakovich's humor.
