Last night I rode with a female PGPD officer in Henry Sector for the evening shift. Shortly after 7:30 while responding to a PCP call, we were alerted for a shooting not too far down the road on Sharon Road. Last night I responded on the 10 13 for my brothers who had been caught in the line of fire. My brothers, my coworkers, were shot while serving the community they swore to protect. I have responded to calls with these men, cooked dinners, and drilled with these men. These men, I have trusted with my life when I step into the firehouse, and always have my back. I sat at Southern Maryland Hospital and watched my brother bleed as a result of gunfire. I watched my brothers swarm to mourn and support one another.
