OMG I MEANT I STARTED OFF WITH GAJEEL’S FACE AND THEN THE PICTURE SORT OF... EX...PANDED....... thank you so much though! i’m still trying to adjust my usual art style to fairy tail’s, and gajeel has been the hardest to draw, but thankfully it’s getting a little easier to draw him every time. :^D

i used a wacom intuos 4 for years before i got a 13HD cintiq this past summer--but you definitely don’t need to go that expensive for an effective drawing tool. i definitely recommend an intuos, but if you want to go cheaper, bamboo tablets work just as effectively! i’ve borrowed one before, and didn’t notice any significant difference. :^D
