Take me back to the start.

A few weeks ago, I left the state for about 24 hours and didn't tell anyone. I'm an adult and have been so for more than a decade, and am unmarried and have no kids, so I don't know why this is a big deal. But I've been suffering terrible guilt ever since. I feel like it was such a terrible thing to do and I'm so mad at myself. Getting on a plane, flying to another state in another time zone, not telling anyone... and it's not like I even did anything crazy while I was there. Just went to two WBC games and went out to eat and then flew back home. So why have I been so guilt ridden these past few weeks? Why am I on edge all the time? Maybe because it cost money? I'm reconsidering lots of my out of state trips for that reason, so maybe the fact that I didn't tell anyone about this one is why I feel so guilty.
