Sundance drawings over the past couple months (Jan~March) I've been drawing these guys as part of a restoration of a personal project (Sundance), and I'm enjoying what I've made so far. This is primarily a written work and Chapter 1 was finished a month or two ago alr...Chapter 2 otw.. The 2nd image was my first attempt at drawing a 'scene', and I think you can definitely tell. I also just kinda burnt out on it (?) because there were so many small mistakes I was unsatisfied with. Anyway

MALEFACTUM* CHAPTER ZERO: "Burning" Song Lyrics from Burning- Fugazi Jesus Christ I started this comic 3 months ago. School and general distraction exploded me into ten million pieces, but I'm pretty satisfied with it overall.. I learned so much in the creation of this. Like before, I knew NOTHING about halftones, so this was my first venture into any of that. There is so much more respect in my heart for all manga artists after this cuz how do they do this shit. Having only basic knowledge on shading didn't help me, either, but I read Ajin and I loved how simple but effective the halftones were there and basically tried my best to copy it. All in all, comic kicked my ass (in a good way) Idk, It's not anything groundbreaking, but I can't believe I made this. It's been a long time since I finished a 'project' so to speak. One thing I will complain about (to myself) is how lacklustre the backgrounds are. It's my first time doing anything like this so forgive me (the two people reading now) for them being ass. Anywayyyyy enjoy this little creation

EDIT: A FRIEND READ THIS AND I REALIZED YOU CANT TELL IF MAELSTROM IS LOOKING AT THE CORPSE OF THE GUY WHO BUMPED INTO HIM OR HIS SON. ITS MEANT TO BE HIS SON. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA the next comic will be better
