❝ Their first meeting takes place in a drug rehab clinic.

Billy notices her immediately.

Firstly, in the deserted corridors of this miserable place, it is rare to see anyone other than medical personnel scurrying back and forth. And she, in her bright orange sweater against the pale walls, was too conspicuous. Like a flash of the sun on a cloudy day. Secondly, she was smiling at him — not with the usual smile that is customary to greet strangers, but sincerely and truly. Despite the fact that her large gray eyes reflected universal sadness.

And Billy, of course, couldn't get past it.

"Hi," he nodded. "I'm Billy." ❞

❝ Sabrina is definitely not good at making friends (except that Spellman is not particularly sad about this), but she is doing well in her studies. It doesn't take much effort for her to take her well-deserved place among the best in Potions on a par with Malfoy. ❝ "I strongly advise you to stop searching and go back before you get into trouble," Mikaelson said indifferently. "Otherwise, it's hard for me to guarantee that you'll live until morning, Regina."

"You don't think I care, do you?" Mills snorted in her usual manner and gave him a haughty look. "I am able to protect myself on my own. The rest is none of your business."

All she had to do was lift her chin and place the crown on her head —and here she was, a queen in her natural habitat. And this queen is not at all used to being given instructions by vampires. Moreover, in the Enchanted Forest, the vampires obeyed exclusively her, the Evil Queen.

"You seem to have forgotten that we're not in Storybrooke," Elijah's voice became dangerously low. He took a step forward, closing the distance between them to a measly couple of meters, but Mills didn't even flinch. "You're on my turf, Regina. And if I tell you to leave, that's exactly what you're going to do."

Regina flushed with indignation, feeling her cheeks burn with anger. What's more, the vampire will dictate the terms to her! And although Regina knew perfectly well that Elijah could wring her neck in a split second if he wanted to, she certainly wasn't going to back down.

"You're a real saint, Spellman," Draco mockingly tries to tease her.

Sabrina moves her shoulder vaguely, briefly considering what Malfoy said. No one has ever managed to call her a saint. The boys from the previous school would rather have given Sabrina Spellman the nickname "the devil in a skirt".

"Not at all, Malfoy," she grins wryly. "I'm just not as mean as you are."

❝ Anger and resentment are boiling in her. She would love to throw some kind of clever curse at Draco, but instead turns away and pretends to read a textbook, although her thoughts are far from what is written there. Draco does about the same thing, not forgetting to have a few words with Crabbe and Goyle, who continue to prepare their potion at the next desk.

At the end of the lesson, they both get a grade of "dreadful" and a stern look from Snape into the bargain. ❞
