   — Dazai looked back at Chuuya, not waiting for him to answer. Oh, those eyes already knew them more. Like his way of speaking. So irritating. So annoying. So … He did not want to keep thinking more deeply, he was very confused. He did not accept his own feelings and out of nothing he did something without thinking. He hated doing things without thinking. And he did it to someone he hated, or that was what he thought but… he already knew he really didn’t.

When Dazai heard that Chuuya wanted to have one night without fighting, he began to feel more confused. Wait, what kind of night does he want with him? Although the truth did not matter what kind of night it could be. Maybe Chuuya asked for a quiet night, no?

    ❝ — Oh uh, fine. We don’t need to fight all the time. I guess. We… can talk about… dunno. I can see you’re you but, are you okay? ❞

          “ I’m fine. Don’t worry. The thing is still affectin’ my head               but I’m tougher than a stupid drink. Just talkin’ isn’t               my strong suit, we’re walking. ”

Without giving the other time to register or agree, he grabbed the others arm and dragged him along. He’d pick a path where they weren’t likely to be seen by anyone they knew, but still enough so it wasn’t dreary or lame. Okay. maybe they could talk and walk at the same time...that wasn’t so hard right?

He looked up at the taller individual, taking in his features. He’d rather this night wasn’t awkward, and he didn’t care how it ended, so he spoke up, irritation on his tongue. 

          “ Just act normal alright. I can tell you’re already off.                It isn’t like you and it ain’t endearing..so...lighten up. ”

    — Dazai did not like that feeling. He really preferred it to be something mutual, not that because of something caused to the other fall for him. That seemed like a lie and he had taken advantage of it.

The man ended up moving away from him after that kiss and looked away for a moment. That was not right. Surely the other was going to think that he did it to take advantage of him, to make hate him more or … he did not know. He did not know how he was going to think about it. He preferred not to know.

Maybe it was better that make Chuuya think he was playing instead of telling him what he really felt.

Maybe…

    ❝ Ehr… My face slipped? Oh whatever, you hate me, right? It’s all because you took, right? ❞ 

When the other moved away, he was left confused. The kiss had lessened the weight of his thoughts surprisingly, but he was still feeling off. Dazai still plagued his mind, and the thoughts of kissing those lips again sneaked in. He tried his damnedest though to shoo them away. He had more willpower than this, and he wouldn’t let some stupid potion decide what he wanted to do next. 

Yeah. 

This next choice would be his decision. 

          “ You’re right. I do hate ya. Right now though, I’m speakin’                for me...and...I’ve decided on somethin. ”

He reached up and grabbed the others collar, yanking him back down. He had that fiery look in his eye again, just as if he had never taken the potion that made him like this. Chuuya really was a force to be reckoned with. 

   — What … kind of look was that? That was out of control. Chuuya was not acting like Dazai knew. He was not angry with him, he did not attack him, he did not growl at him. That made him tense. He really tensed, but he did not show it to the naked eye, he always hid how he felt.

But he stared into his eyes, again with surprise, when he said that. Hah, the funny thing was that the same thing had happened to him for a long time. He did not expected for him to say something like that … was it all because of what the other took? What the fuck he took? A love potion?

Dazai did not answer anymore, he approached him, ducking his head and without think twice, kissed him on the lips. Fuck, he did not want to do it but he ended up doing it. He did not— He did not want to show him this—

Shit. Shit shit shit! What the fuck was he doing?!

Shock was the first emotion that came over him. With the other’s lips pressed against his, his mind was going haywire. Everything was telling him two things at once. Punch Dazai, move away, get away...kiss him back, grasp onto him, something. Honestly the kiss wasn’t even that bad...it was soft. Chuuya found himself reaching up, placing his hands against the other’s chest, but instead of pushing him back he gave in. 

He was kissing Dazai back. 

No but...he hated him. He hated him so much that it made his blood boil but...this time...

    — Dazai narrowed his eyes for a moment while listening to the other. Did he take something? Hm, that did not surprise him too much, what did surprise him was hearing that the other could not stop thinking about him. He blinked a moment, but was speechless. Wait, what did that mean? Did not he always think about him? Oh Dazai, do not be self-centered. But what did it mean? Did he feel something after taking what he said? Huh—   

     ❝ … What kind of thoughts? ❞

          “ Yer really gonna make me say huh...tch, how cruel. ”

He was already in this deep. He finally made eye contact with the other, even though he was still somewhat unsettled by this whole situation. Even though staring into the others eyes made his heart skip a beat...made him bite his lip and clench his fists. 

    ❝ But I am! Carry me, be my prince ♥ ❞ 

   — What’s wrong him? He was really acting in a very strange way. It was really curious see him acting shy in front of him instead of attacking him or throwing him away. Was he weaker today? Nah, there was something else, right?

     ❝ I promise I won’t laugh. Tell me dumb, what’s happening? ❞ 

         “ I...took somethin’ without knowin and now I... ”

He bit his lip and huffed. Could he? He guessed...it wouldn’t be too bad. Dammit he didn’t know when Dazai was genuine or lying, but he couldn’t just keep this in. Also, he didn’t want to be brought into a hug because he didn’t know what he’d end up doing in response. 

    ❝ Nu-uuuuh! Carry me! ❞

   — Dazai looked at the other with curiosity, since it did not seem that his blush was going to disappear. He found it funny, but also strange. It was not fun to bother him if he was not going to get angry, although he seemed quite nervous.

     ❝ You can tell me y’know. If not I’m going to hug you tightly again! ❞

          “ D-don’t! ”

He felt his face get hotter. No no no dammit. How could he even explain this? He took a step back and fumbled with his words. He hated this, this wasn’t like him at all. 

He’s not okay but he’s just gonna sit and sulk.

            “ Hm.. ”

          “ ... ”

   — Well, it was true that he rushed at the redhead just to return the hug, but he did not wait for Chuuya’s reaction to be like that. The truth was surprised, he looked strange. He was not going to punch him? Weird.

Dazai ended up moving slightly away from him and stood in front of him.

    ❝ Alright? What’s wrong with you now? Are… you… blushing? ❞

          “ I just told you idiot! I ain’t like myself! Somethin...happened. ”

He huffed. No matter what, the hot feeling in his cheeks wouldn’t go away. He hated being like this in front of the other but the moment he set his eyes on the taller man once feeling like this he just...

          “ H-hey! ”

He tensed up, something creeping over him. Damn him. It was...this was all Dazai’s fault. He must of did something to him, making him all vulnerable and completely taking over his thoughts. The thing was...he didn’t feel all that different, just a bit. Dammit...dammit...

          “ …Jokes on y-you bastard. It ain’t gonna work. ”

He lied.
