I don’t agree with a lot of fandom takes on astarion but some of my favorites are the ones that recognize that he’s such a whiny little bitch. not to invalidate his character, he’s obviously got genuine emotions, trauma, and issues, but he’s also a petty little ass who will moan for an hour and a half about shadowheart healing him two minutes too slow. complains about his feet 10 minutes into a march. discovers mosquitoes and is immediately sent into a murderous rage by two (2) mosquito bites.

I think that Simon, ever since getting on the Hail Mary on the way to Erid, freaks out the first time he sees blood on any surface in the Hail Mary. Because like "OH SHIT! THE FUCKING EEL'S BACK!" and he's like half way to having a panic attack and Grace comes up to a very freaked out Simon. So Grace is all "What happened!" and is also about to freak out. Then Simon sees the tissue in his nose and asks about it once he's calmed down a bit. And Grace is all like "Oh, I had a nose bleed! No biggie though! Mary gave me a tissue!"
