i’ve been wondering lately what these little pockets on shirts that are always there should really be used for???

It was a cold and stormy night, I was sitting near the fireplace having some hot chocolate, and scrolling down tumblr as usual. When suddenly something I could never have imagined happened. Their was a quiet knock at my front door. Puzzled, at who this might be on such a night knocking at my door right now I hesitantly got up and headed to the door. Looking through the peephole I could see nothing. I opened the door to slowly see nothing, till I turned my gaze downwards. There, sitting on my steps was a small whicker basket, not a usual whicker basket, it was different. It almost looked like it was made by someone who had no idea what they were doing, made hastily, with not skill or precision put to it. In the basket all I could see was a small blue blanket. Leaning out my door, I peered down the street looking for a person, someone who may have left this. Not a single thing to see. I turned my attention back down to the basket, this strange whicker basket. Knelt down and slowly lifted up the soft blanket. There it was. This small, scared rubber chicken with a small piece of crumpled up what looked like a hand written note. The note read “This chicken has seen many things. Many things in which it cannot forget. I am hoping to leave him with you as to give him a new start. Hopes for a better future.” The note continued for a few other lines where the writer expressed it’s love for this rubber chicken then finally the note ended with a photo. A small, not the most clear photo with another line written under it saying, “Please don’t let him find it again.”
