whatever comes, face it on your feet

being a grad student means teaching yourself queer theory bc no one else is doing it but then when you start talking to people to get started they are really excited about it and you have a reading list probably 150 books long and you’re sitting in on undergraduate classes. and this all seems well and good except it means you have made the choice, that no one forced you to make, to read Foucault and classic Judith Butler. 

I have so much homework I need to do BUT I don’t have the emotinal energy to do it bc a fucking 22 year old thought they wanted to be my boyfriend and I don’t know how to tell them to fuck off so we keep having the same fight over and over (not about them being my boyfriend i DID tell them no to that) 

me: I adore the Witcher books I just don't think they're very well written

It’s very interesting to see the different ways Wheel of Time and Witcher are handling having an established loyal fanbase while also trying to bring in new fans

It’s really weird that they didn’t include Eskel in this new season huh? Like they’ve introduced all the other Witchers (and even one’s that don’t canonically exsist!) but not Eskel.
