WHAT DO YOU MEAN, I'M REAL NOW (not in voice acting, animating or anything like that. just... fern as in fern. me)

(Something about "too much of a good thing"? Anyway)

Anyhow! It's nearly (or possibly already is in some timezones) 2026, and I was struck with an idea just now. I plan on bringing back ACTOF for a second round! (AKA, a sort of "choose your own adventure" story with no real wrong answers involved.) So, I figured: Maybe you folk could decide on a theme for it this time? It feels fair to let you do that after I vanished for a few months. So, without further ado...

Hey, no worries! I'm still down to make this stuff even if it's not a huge priority for me anymore. Making folk happy is cool. Anyhow...

💙 My gut's saying he doesn't really have a specific age range, and that he "just feels like he's three sometimes".

💙 Words get pretty awkward for him, and he isn't a fan. He likes to talk a lot more when he's smaller, but really doesn't enjoy it when he sounds like he's speaking absolute nonsense or isn't able to pronounce "story" right.

💙 Really enjoys sneaking off to try and gather pinecones (plus other forest-y things). They're just interesting to him, so how is he meant to say no to a little foraging?

💙 Not exactly... the brightest tool in the shed sometimes. He can end up doing something that makes other people worried / upset, and just kind of look blankly at whoever's talking to him about stuff.

💙 However, there is a reason for the above - his body's just trying to keep his anxiety under wraps. It's already pretty bad as-is, but it flaring up when he's small is even more frightening to him. So he just tends to go a little blank in the face of being told off about things, even though it's done gently and non-judgementally, to make sure he doesn't melt into a quivering mess.

I do think after the end of season 2 she’d begin to regress more, not out of anything negative though! If anything it’s a positive reaction because like wow,, she finally feels safe and happy and ends up just slipping into it naturally

I also think she’d totally end up getting spoiled by everybody, not so much as “spoiled rotten” but definitely “spoiled sweet” better yet even “spoiled sassy” cause I imagine she can have an extremely mischievous attitude when small

Jack is about 5-7, while Silver is about 2-4 or something like that, which helps Jack feel like a brave and strong knight (which, according to my research after you answered my first ask about this, is apparently a type of (low ranking) nobility if my research is correct).

Jack has also attempted to defend Silver when Jack is little but Silver isn't, which Silver usually goes along with bc he finds it kinda cute and it keeps Jack calmer than if he told him to knock it off.

Jack also takes on the role when he's big but Silver is little bc he finds it fun, although he's less "immediate bonking" when he's not little as he's been told not to go after people so much when big under threat of severe punishment, so he's a bit more careful.

Little Jack and Silver build cardboard castles occasionally, they both LOVE doing it together, with caregiver supervision of course. OJ is usually the one to do it, as he's the best with box cutters and will make windows for them upon request, which is often when they make the castles.

Little Jack has a black and white horse plush named by Candle (made in her free time and requested by Silver), which Jack calls "Spade". Spade goes practically EVERYWHERE with Jack, only exceptions are bath time and during cardboard castle building time, although with that second one Spade is just sitting on a chair or something nearby so he doesn't get glue or something on him. Spade tends to also sit a bit aways when Jack is eating so they don't get messy, as he doesn't like having Spade go into the washing machine or some other washing method (it's handsewn so idk).

Jack and Silver Spoon sometimes end up napping together while little (they get very tired and pretty much pass out on a carpeted floor or something), and little Jack sometimes wraps his arms around Silver before falling asleep to "protect" him while they're little, like a "brave knight" would, to him the at least.
