ok asking this here because i dont even know how to begin to google this but i understand from the vague information i remember about the flash is that he can run at the speed of light, and im assuming his body is literally wired differently to be able to sustain his powers (not being able to get drunk unless its a very, very potent drink, but even then its only for a second or two).

so my question is, if the flash were to pick someone up in order to save them, but there are other people around (ex. a burning building) would he be able to move at the speed of light to get everyone out of the burning building, or would he only be able to move as fast as the normal human body can tolerate as to not rip them to shreds or something?
