Hiii, I'm still here!! Working night shift has been wrecking me in multiple ways. I've been drawing, but I haven't had the mental capacity to actually post and be active. Not sure when I'll start posting more, but!! I'll try.
I wanted to let you guys know about some stuff that might effect me posting art on here! But first things first, thank you so much for 280+ followers!! Wow!! I've never had that many before on almost any platform I've been on, so you guys are amazing and thank you again! <3

Fair warning, it's gonna get pretty long. I talk a lot about social and political issues, since I'm currently living in the United States, and things have been getting scarier here. If you don't want to read about that, that's completely fine! I hope you have a lovely day <3
Okidoki, here we go!
1. I have a job now!
After almost eleven months of unemployment - yes, the job market is that bad, keep your jobs if you're able to - I've finally been hired! However, along with being night shift, it's a very emotionally draining position, so I will not be online nearly as much in order to find better coping mechanisms aside from scrolling\ on Tumblr for however long.
Side note: It's literally AI that's making job searching worse, by the way. This is a rant for another day. Eleven months of no income. Fuck, man. Anyway.
2. I plan on becoming more active in my local community!
Living in the United States or not, I'm positive you know at least a little bit about how this country has taken a nose dive these past couple of months due to Donald Trump's presidency, and Republicans taking full control over all branches of government. There's a lot of hopelessness going around, especially since as of today - November 1st, 2025 - SNAP benefits have been cut off due to the government shutdown. This leaves A LOT of people with little to no food, including children. If you find yourself in this situation, please rely on your local food bank. And to those who are able, please donate a couple of dollars if you can. It can buy a lot of food for a lot of people - even if it's just ten dollars!
In the United States, the majority of people do not rely on their community, since they don't really have one - including myself! We focus almost entirely on ourselves and close friends/family, which is not sustainable. We need each other more than anything! We need a roof over our head if we lose our homes, food and water when we can't afford it, a shoulder to cry on when we think we don't have anyone else. I'd like to be that for people! I'm really, really tired of acting like an onlooker, despite being in the same sinking boat! Not everyone knows how to plug a leak, but maybe I do - maybe you do! We can't help if we don't act!
And thankfully ICE isn't a huge issues (yet) in my city, but I have been doing research on how to combat them. Even during Obama's presidency, I had a family friend that was deported before they even had a chance to renew their VISA. It is now so. Much. Worse. And has been for a long time. If you also plan on protesting ICE, please be extremely EXTREMELY careful.
3. And finally, I need to be there for someone who is close to me! They have health issues going on, so I will be looking after them.
