I have been the main caregiver for my father for the last 8 months and have in turn been out of work for that time. Due to this I have racked up credit card debt for bills, medication, and other parts of his treatment and have not had the chance to make more than the minimum payment until about 2 months ago. I am now possibly being sent to court if I can’t pay off at least 2.2k (my total debt is 14k) before the 7th of July. My plan is to start a financial hardship program which will lower my interest and monthly payments but I can not do so without the initial payment of almost 2.2k. My father is finally in remission and I have been applying to jobs and have a final round interview this week (update: I start July 21st)!! If you or anyone you know may be willing to help me out, it would be the greatest blessing of my life.

Trying to hold my self and my family afloat has been really difficult and all I need is a fresh start.
