i keep getting project hail mary fanart on my dash and thinking it's fanart of jimmy solidarity having a REALLY bad time

relistening to wywhs 4…. warrens voice immediately after gordons flashback is making me wanna frow up. “oh god im so bad at caring for vulnerable people lol” and then 5 minutes later hes calmly using the absolute sweetest tone ever spoken aloud to calm gordon down??

one thing that reeaaally to gets me about season 4 is how aubrey can be appropriately annoyed with warren for whatever stupid thing he says, but you can always feel her tone change the moment he makes it about gordon. specifically the scene with them in the farmhouse with hester. like yeah. youre already worked to the bone and have been for years. and now youre dealing with a childish man who’s been throwing a fit about being awake ever since you woke him up. but despite it all, you cant stay mad. you went through the same thing as him, didnt you? you both were at bryony’s whims for years, and you both woke up from an involuntary hypersleep. but you had your wife waiting for you on the other side. all he has is a high-tech coffin to sit by.
