God movie night in the Way household has got to be untenable for like 99% of people like you show up and they (two art school bitches) are like okay would you rather watch General Harris' Circus of Melancholic Cloud or Juice: Meditations and both of them are from 1961 and the covers look like theyve been through mortar shelling because only 39 DVD copies were ever made and they had to embark on an intense eBay bidding war to get one. and you pick General Harris' whatever the fuck I just said and they put it on and the whole thing looks like it was filmed by putting old silver nitrate exposure plates together at 40fps and there's not really a plot so much as there is a lot of really erotically framed shots of lampposts but you're too deep in now to dip out early. Whole time theyre cuddling and whispering and giggling like two 8th graders that have been dating for a week in english class and its kind of uncomfortable. finally it finishes and they immediately try to engage you in a conversation about the films overt themes of the seedy underbelly of 1890s greyhound racing (there was not a single dog in the entire movie).
