Thank you baby! Mark cleared off his car enough to move it, then cleared mine off so I could take Mom to her appointment. Then he discovered that my wipers were frozen and not working. 🙁 He then moved everything needed to travel with mom to his car so we could leave. He is almost as frozen as the wipers. I love you Mark for taking such good care of us even when things don’t go right. 💗💗💗

I have a lot of patience for most things. However stupidity and egotism are not two. Ok I could possibly forgive some stupidity as that is not something many can control…

To the asshat (I use that term only in the most endearing of ways) who parked in the handicapped space at Trader Joe’s, I hope you enjoy the $350.00 contribution you will be making to the city. Had you been even slightly remorseful or apologetic and moved your BMW to ANY of the empty parking spaces available, I probably wouldn’t have called the non-emergency line and asked if they had an officer that wouldn’t mind writing an easy violation. But no, you doubled down and said the striped area was not a handicapped spot (amongst other colorful things), took your dog (which you did not clean-up after) and went to the pet shop. While I waited for a handicapped spot to open up so I could maneuver my mom’s wheelchair, and she could go in the store with me.

Play stupid games, win stupid (and expensive) prizes.

Some days are harder than others. This is one of the hard ones. Mom said goodbye to Angelina today. She's been on heart meds and starting last night had significant issues breathing and difficulty walking. I called her vet this morning and they said to bring her in. Known issues were her heart and arthritis, they did an ultrasound and it showed a large mass in her abdomen. Mom made the decision and we said our goodbyes. She is over the rainbow bridge now and getting all sorts of treats from Dad and making all sorts of friends with the four footers who crossed before her. ❤️🐾🌈💔

The hard part is that Mom has Alzeimers. She will relive this heartache several times. It won't be long before she asks me if all the dogs are in, or where's Angie, and I will have to tell her again. :( She is still thinking there is more than one dog in the house even though Tyler has been gone for over four years.
