Exactly one year ago, I was admitted to the hospital... Without giving all the gory details, my diagnosis caused me great pain and suffering. Today I celebrate GOD for pulling me - ...from Helpless to Helpful again ...from Hopeless to Hopefully to Hopeful ...from Useless to Useful again ...from confused to Confident ...from feelings of despair to feelings of Delightment ...from wanting to divorce to watching my husband love me anyway ...from being unable to take my own steps, or bathe to being my old resourceful self again. I had a new normal to contend with... But besides all of that? I'm just happy to be alive... EVERYTHING else IS trivial.... I sincerely didn't know how deeply he loved me until this last year of our marriage. 😪😢 My husband fears divorce so he does the work to keep our Covenant in tact... Not many men fear divorce as if it's their kryptonite... This makes me feel secure..... 🔐 Marriage is the wrong time to be independent... Read that again...
