"Young?" Jessa tried to laugh. Its what her Aunt did whenever she got carded, so she figured it would help out now. "Flattered, but no. I'm nineteen." It was enough of a lie to get her into the clear, she was always told she looked a little bit older for her age. Sixteen sometimes even seventeen. But would nineteen cut it? "How old are you?"

Benny nodded his head a little. "Okay. I'm sorry...that was kinda weird I just didn't want... you know."He stopped while he was ahead and turned back towards the wheel. "I'm 20." He murmured. "So why are you running?" He wondered.

"Nice to meet you Ben." Jessa got settled in the car before turning to him. She nodded. "Yeah, of course. You can ask me anything."

Benny shrugged a little as the tip of his ears got pink. "How old are you?" He made a face. "Not that... I'm trying to be weird or... that it matter because it doesn't. It's just...oh man- You seem a little young and I don't want to- well." He trailed off rubbing his eyes. "I just don't want to come off weird." He muttered. "Cause i'm totally not trying to be..." 

Jessa let out a squeal and hopped in the stranger’s vehicle. She buckled herself in and turned to the mystery guy. “Thank you so much!” The teenager stuck out her hand. “I’m Jessa by the way.”

Benny laughed a little shaking his head. He ran his hands down his wheel before turning to face her. "Ben... Well Benny." He shrugged taking her hand for a millisecond before he dropped it. "Can I ask you something?" He hummed. 

"That’s perfect!" Tessa blushed. "I mean, just anywhere would be nice. I need to be farther away from my house as possible."

"Okay then. I know how that goes." He smiled a little. "Hop in and we'll drive until you're far enough away."
