This weekend, we had our first pheasant and quail hunt in Carstairs. Then we roadtripped to BC, where we contemplated sleeping in the cab of your truck on the way there because we didn’t book a site and weren’t allowed to camp on the side of the highway. Once in BC, we saw my parents, went for a hike, went to the beach, and had some beer at a pub who wouldn’t let us leave with our coronas. On the way home, we mistakenly thought it was July 6th instead of 7th, stopped at a campsite and completely unpacked and unloaded, ate supper, then realized we were due at Jarvis lake that day. So we packed it all back up, left the sunshine and went into the rain to get to Jarvis lake. Although it was rainy a lot of the time, we went fishing and played some monopoly.
