Striated Pardalote (Pardalotus striatus)

Also known as the Pickwick, Wittachew or Chip-Chip, the striated pardalote is a small species of passerine bird endemic to Australia. Like most perching birds the striated pardalote makes its home in the treetops where it feeds on insects and other small invertebrates. This pardalote has four distinct subspecies, all of which used to be classified as individual species.
