                           “  the   town   is   always   on   alert  .   /  in   the   spring   they   patrol   the   coast    /    fearing   the   worst   .  ”   richie  swallows  harshly  ,  blinking  back  to  barry  with  softened  eyes  .  the  pads  of  his  thumbs  awkwardly  press  together  and  he  purses  his  lips  .  “  it  wasn’t  a  great  town  .  it  was  HOME  but  i  hardly  remember  any  of  it  .  just  the  BAD  stuff  really  .  ”  the  kid  kicks  at  the  pedal  of  his  bike  nonchalantly  ,  he  knew  there  was  something  important  he  had  to  remember  .  SOMEONE  important  he  had  to   ...  but  it  was  gone  .  he  knows  that  he  KNEW  a  few  months  back  but  ...  after  spending  more  time  in  SUNNY  los  angeles  everything  left  him  .  names  of  people  ,  even  some  faces  .  the  summers  he  had  there  ,  names  of  his  teachers  .  “  i-i  dunno  if  that  makes  any  sense  ,  derry  uh  —  derry  just  left  a  weird  dent  on  me  i  guess  .  ”  he  tries  to  laugh  it  off  like  he  hadn’t  just  offloaded  all  this  information  to  the  weird  guy  he  started  bugging  on  his  way  home  from  school  and  became  a  routine  for  him  daily  .  barry  was  a  good  guy  ,  weird  though  ...  took  acting  classes  but  he  didn’t  seem  like  an  actor  .  didn’t  seem  like  much  of  anything  but  richie  found  him  FUN  .

HI THERE ! it’s not munday but ky ( @stndpipe​ ) and i spent 25 euro on these little guys on a whim !! these are the fruits of our LABOR !!!!
