i was thinking of more so making a self insert for Beau but... I'm getting the clue that for a proper storyline I can't have it be a self insert and that instead it has to be an... OC. lightly self-inserty OC.

Cause it is hard to think up a storyline when one person is a Navy SEAL soldier and another is just... a very Regular and Basic as hell civilian. If I made it fully self-inserty there would be literally nothing for me to write about and I need drama!!! i do! i'm too basic for this

so there was a thought of changing Beau's name because of reasons I am now too lazy/tired to explain. but I believe I am dropping that idea which now makes it a bit problematic for me because I had started making a little website for me and Beau which would all be fine and dandy but the ship name i used for the site was based on the new name and i really love the ship name and no other ship name hits as well. ack.
