Two voices could be heard, both shouting at each other. In the background, loud mechanical whirring could be heard- specific sounds only made by mech-sized machines. Somewhere, in the vicinity where this audio file had been recorded, there was a huge robot prowling about.
“ YOU’VE GOT NO RIGHT TO DECIDE THAT!! YOU KNOW WHAT I HAD TO DO TO MAKE HER!!! “
“ HER!?! IT’S A FUCKING MACHINE!! “
“ DON’T YOU DARE CALL HER THAT YOU COWARD!! “
Sounds of scuffling could now be heard, as if two individuals began to approach each other with violent intentions. The sound of a loud grunt could be heard as the second voice was struck, now falling down- the only inference that could be made from what sounded like bone or flesh meeting steel.
Soon a new sound began screaming into the recording, metal being torn open as the whirring noise blared loudly- the machine was now close. Suddenly, the first voice could be heard panicking through the screeching metal and machine’s presence. He started screaming, nails scraping on floor desperately to get some sort of grip.
“ PROFESSOR- PROFESSOR PLEASE, THIS THING IS GOING TO MURDER ME- PLEASE!! “
More shuffling, the second voice now standing.
“ ... no. No, you will give her a taste for our kind. She’ll know her enemies. She’ll know who is truly her ally. Farewell, assistant. May whatever god you believe in have mercy on your soul. “
“ WHAT THE FUC- WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU- IT’S A MACHINE- A ROBOT- A PIECE OF SH- AAAAA- “
At that point, the first voice is violently cut off, the sound of bones snapping cutting off any excess audio. A body could be heard hitting the floor before large, mechanical footsteps approached the second voice, more whirring- it must be lowering it’s head.
❝ I AM.. GOOD GIRL? CREATOR IS SAFE? NOT HURT? ❞
“ Yes.. yes, that’s right.. a good girl.. a very good, pretty lady.. don’t worry, I’m safe.. you’re going to grow up to be so strong.. come on over, Omni. Let’s get you washed off. “

It’d been a while since she held his hand like this, pulling him gently down the halls of the Malevolence- Vincent’s ship- as she considered things they could do. So much that it was difficult to decide on one thing. So naturally, being who she was, Alice goes with what she likes the most (forgetting to bring it up to Kakeru, but he would be okay with it- hopefully).

The path she took lead the duo to the hangar, it’s massive door open at the moment. The pilot lead him up to the edge, where the sky stretched out almost infinitely. Backing up, she equipped her light armor, careful not to blind her partner with it’s flash. With wings outstretched, she walked up to the ledge backwards and balanced on her heels, offering her hand with a smile.
❝ I’d say let’s go sky-diving but we both can fly, so- ready? ❞

After her sudden bout of affection, she holds him close in her arms, grinning as if she just won the lottery (she may as well have, in her eyes).

Judging by the tally board titled ‘Have we been good today’, along with a long set of rules on the side describing what is good in this case, the fact that Icarus’ side of the tally has less then Omni’s is a fair sign that someone hasn’t been very good this week.

With eyes closed, she dreamed of wide open fields and skies so blue they made the oceans cry in jealousy. Cloudy wisps blew past her, grass catching the gentle breeze- she was so high that the sky was in reach.
She felt a presence behind her, shaking her from her reverie. When the words reached her ears, Alice practically spun on her heels turning so fast. But she saw nothing, her own voice trapped in the wind. That didn’t stop her- she attempted to speak anyways.
“ Mom..!? Hey!! Don’t leave me! “
.. after a few more quieter tries, she eventually gave up speaking, simply staring off where the voice had originated.
She wasn’t saddened or upset, however- far from it. Despite small tears rolling down her cheeks, the words had weight, and her spirit burned.
Waking up with a slight start, the soldier didn’t take long to hop out of her bed and straight to her morning duties.
There was a job to be done.

He can’t say the excitement isn’t unwelcome. Not many people literally brighten at the sight of him. He does mean literally brighten. She was throwing off some light. The only other person to do such a thing was his father – illuminating golden eyes glowing even brighter at the sight of him. With that, he’s fairly certain he’s meeting his ‘aunt’. This meant he had to share his father with an aunt.
But Life and Death go hand in hand. This is the basis of balance – symmetry even. He can rationalize this out, but he still felt the sting of jealousy.
“I can take a guess to say you’re the Concept of Life. No one else could shine that brightly. I only hope he kept the embarrassing stories to a minimum. Of course, I can tell plenty of embarrassing stories about him.”
The descriptions Death gave, the stories he told- none of them compared to actually meeting the boy in person. It took every last bit of essence within her to resist outright crushing the life out of him via affectionate hug- many mistook Life to be weak, a mistake that none would ever forget. Instead, the concept reached and took Kid’s hands in her own, internally roaring with joy.
It was without a doubt that she would end up spoiling her ‘nephew’ more than he already was- that was certain.
“ He’s certainly told me a wide variety of stories- but, meeting you in person.. you are absolutely precious! And so tall too- oh, but I wish I could say I wasn’t envious of that! You may call me Life, simply enough! It’s a great pleasure to meet you! “

She was rather calm about the situation- it just came with previous experiences; at least, that was the most logical answer.
why did he have to go out today, of all days? n knew the streets like the back of his hand, of course, but the sheer amount of people there forced him to pull his hat over his eyes, in a misguided attempt to get the glances off of him. his plasma past wouldn’t be forgotten recently, it seemed. soon, he saw another person nearby- someone he didn’t recognize, but at the very least, she seemed like she wouldn’t hurt him.
“of course. i don’t mind.”
“ Try to stay out of sight of.. y’know. I’m not entirely welcome here. “
Of course, she says this after they agree to stay quiet; they seemed somewhat familiar to her.. Ali would dwell on it later, after they got out if this mess. Luckily, the sidewalk was somewhat busy today- people walking up and down the streets created a perfect shield from view for them to slip away.
Her eyes catch sight of a lone alleyway- one she recognizes. A quick tug at the other’s sleeve and a nod of the head at the direction of the space between the buildings would hopefully alert her ‘partner’ of her plan.
