Hey Gabby, how about headcannons for Kyoshi, Izuki and Akashi, what would they be like if they fall in love?
Nice lineup of characters you have here, anon! And thanks for giving me a chance to write headcanons! Also I wrote this as kind of like “falling in love” with someone they’re not together with yet instead of “falling in love” with their already existing partner. If the latter is what you want, let me know and I’ll gladly fix it for you!
KIYOSHI
Likes pursing his lip to contain a smile while thinking about you, the person who has his heart; sometimes he lets the smile slip (regardless of the time and place, mind you) and it turns into a small grin and it freaks Hyuuga and the basketbois out so he gets scolded sometimes
He doesn’t become a happy jolly ball of fluff, but he is giddy, so much so that it turns to jumpiness whenever you are around. The catch: when you are interacting directly with him, all signs of nervousness are internalized. Gone. And he’s back to his usual, gentle self, flawlessly talking to you. Once you leave, though, he’ll show his nervousness quite blatantly, like holding a hand to his heart just to marvel at how damn fast it’s beating
Finds himself daydreaming a lot whenever he is not occupied with anything: in his room, while brushing his teeth, or in classes when he is not so interested.
HOWEVER! He does not let an opportunity slip: he will try to lay on the charm if he sees an appropriate moment for it. He might not know if you return his feelings just yet, but seeing you blush and punch his arm lightly is so worth it. He’ll slowly and surely make sure you fall for him, too.
IZUKI
PUNS. LOTS AND LOTS OF PUNS.
He gets inspired really quickly when he has his heart set out to impress you. Izuki writes all of these puns down on his notebook, and he will seize the chance to throw a flirtatious one at you whenever he sees fit. Bottom line is he just wants to interact with you more and see your reactions. He’ll enjoy anything, from teasing “har har”s to genuine snorts to a pat on a shoulder telling him to “try harder, Izuki-kun”. As long as you don’t give him the cold shoulder, that would break his heart. He just wants your attention.
If you’re not sharing the same circle as him, you can bet he will ask around people about the things you like and such, but he won’t ask everyone. He will be very careful in picking a trustworthy connection, just having one or two of your close friends as his go-to source for stuff like what kind of music you like to listen to or movies you want to watch.
If you’re in the same circle, he’ll just ask you straight up! But he’ll also mask it as a group hangout just so he can spend more time with you!
He has supportive friends. When he’s sure you have a crush on him, he’s gonna organize a group hangout, only to have the rest of the group “cancel” on the two of you so he and you can have some alone time.
AKASHI
Prince Charming does not usually find someone that catches his eye, so when it happens, it happens pretty intensely. He will pay more attention to your activities, bearing in mind not to cross certain lines, and he will find out more about you (under the pretense of recruiting you into the student council, maybe).
If you are already in his circle, he will gradually and consciously increase the frequency of his interaction with you. Group projects, extracurricular events, anything. He’s smart enough to make sure his advances doesn’t look too suspicious, but he will be sliiightly flirtatious in the early stages, just enough to give you an inkling of a hint.
Takes advantage of holidays like Valentine’s/White Day, Christmas, and your birthday. He gifts, but contrary to popular belief, not too luxuriously. He wants you to be comfortable accepting it. Plus, the gift will be so meaningful to you, perhaps like a phone case to replace your broken one, or a sweater because you ruined yours, etc. He wants you to use it and remember him.
Akashi is smart, and he observes the signs that you are (unconsciously) giving him about your feelings. He’s not experienced, per se, but he knows you enough to decipher them. When the time is right, he’ll turn up the charm meter real high to make sure you fall for him. (Tbh if it doesn’t work on you he’ll light up like a glostick because he likes challenges!)
