      Dear Venture, 

           Honestly, happy freaking birthday to my best friend. I don’t have a lot of talents when it comes to making things, but I am pretty decent with my words. As you know I love you dearly and I couldn’t be more proud of you for your accomplishments. One, your amazing book. I’ve had the pleasure of reading right from the start of it all. I’ve seen the book grow and I’ve seen you grow as a writer and a super enthused one at that. You’ve created a whole world and I can’t wait to see where that road leads for you. I really can’t wait to read the next billion books you come out with, because honestly if it’s written by you it’s going to be good. I know that for a fact. While getting to know you over – not even half a year? You’re a huge inspiration for me and I know you inspire so many others because of all those nice little messages I get to see on my dash after nearly every update. I’m really happy for you. Two, you’re very strong and you’ve made it another year. I’m so glad that I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know you as a person. I’m happy to call you my best friend. Not only have you been a huge inspiration for my writing, you’ve been a huge influence on my happiness and you’ve helped me through the past six? months. When I was down you picked me up and you continue to do so. You’ve helped me smile when I needed it. You’ve given me a kick in the ass when I need it and I appreciate the tough love you offer. Every little thing you’ve done for me is appreciated, even through all our petty fights that we’ve worked through. You never give up on me eve if I feel hopeless.

You’ve loved me and cared for me when no one else could help in that way. You make me laugh like no other and I could talk to you for eight hours straight if I wanted to. If we could. Every tough day is just a little bit easier with you around. So, if you ever think you don’t matter to me, look back on this. You’re the one that gets me the most. You’re one of the kindest and generous human beings I’ve ever met and you deserve anything and everything you go after. So, have a happy happy birthday.

          so, a park isn’t exactly his idea of a good place to meet, but a potential client? how’s he supposed to pass a thing like that up? admittedly though, he looks a bit out of place seated on the park bench in his usual leather jacket and pitch black sunglasses, phone in his hand.
