Horrible side effect of being in a fandom (for Me) is having a fav that in some form or another gets constantly pitted against a character u also like who is decidedly more popular and u start to have beef with them.

Haha do you think Shanks losing his arm wasn’t what pushed Mihawk away from him but was more like the straw that broke the camel’s back because while Shanks was the closest thing to a friend Mihawk’s ever had, Shanks has a whole crew that loves him, and probably always pined after his lost friendship with Buggy even while Mihawk was right there. And him choosing to sacrifice his arm for Luffy, effectively ending their rivalry, was just another moment where Mihawk realized that there would always be things more important to Shanks than Mihawk.

Being bigender and a shonen fan means I’m actually the worst parts of both sides of the fandom I’m an annoying shipper and a delusional powerscaler.
