Send ! for me to write a starter of ours being kidnapped and locked in a cell together
One moment the taste of blood was all she knew, and the next, she was waking up feeling drunk in a small and damp cell, with dim lights the only source to give her sight. Looking around, she was surprised and not so happy to see that right next to her..was Fate. Moving over, she noticed one hand was bound to one of his hands, and they were both shackled with one, very strange, set of chains to the floor. Using her free hand she began to shake fate.
 âWake up, fool!â She hisses.

Fate resisted Evelynnâs attempt to rouse him from unconsciousness; who or whatever had overcome the pair had been quite powerful indeed. Fed up, Eve resorted to a sharp slap to the Cardmasterâs face, which finally did the trick.
âFn-gah~! Whuzzat?! What theââ Fate body snapped to wakefulness, disoriented and entirely incoherent. His mind registered that his limbs were restricted quickly, though, and now given a problem to focus on, his mind began to clear. He observed the thick iron manacles on his legs chaining him to the floor, and his left hand chained to another person. Even in the darkness of the cell, those golden eyes could only belong to one person, and Fateâs focus turned razor sharp upon realization that he was cuffed to the best/worst thing to ever happen to him.
âEvie? What in tarnation is goinâ on? Howâd we get here? Last I reckon, you werenât even with me whenâŚwhatever it was got the drop on me.â

\ \ Evelynn looks at him with a look of anger mixed with confusion. It was easy to tell she was just as lost as he was. Where she, they, where at made no sense to her at all. One moment they were on their own, doing what they do best when eyes do not watch them, the nextâŚwell, she couldnât remember. She had been about to feast, her memory hazy, when she had felt a sharp pain and thenâŚ..nothing.
Looking around, she attempts to move around, but only is constricted more in doing so. Realizing the two of them were bound until whomever it was did this set them free or worse, she felt herself hiss out in frustration. This was not how she wanted to be bound when with Fate. Rubbing her temple with the hand that was not bound to him, she turns her face and steadily looks at him, clearly, annoyed.
âAlright we have to find a way to unlock the one around your hands first at least.â She is serious, strange to see her so, but in a situation like this time for foolish games was based saved for later.

Fate took a moment to observe the cell and his restraints. Â The shackles were old rusted iron, but thick enough to hold him fast where he was. Â Normal old chains were usually not a problem for the Cardmaster; all it took was a single playing card, a touch of the magic, and heâd be free as a bird. Â Unfortunately, his restraints kept his hands unable to reach for his deck of cards concealed in his jacket pocket. Â Looking over at the Widowmaker beside him, he could tell that from her position, sheâd be unable to get to his cards too, even if he were comfortable enough with her to let her touch them. Â But Fate never was without cards somewhere on his body, and his main deck was only one of several. Â Thinking a moment, his cyan eyes regarded Evelyn.
âListen, in my back pocket in my trousers Iâve got me an ace.  Fish it outta there and hand it to me...and try not to touch it for too long, âelse itâll burn you what good, darlinâ.â  Fate only hoped Evelyn would, for once, listen to him for a change.  It was just about the only way the hell-crossed pair would be getting out of their prison, and on to finding out who or what had put them there.
