Only one thing remained reachable, close and secure amid all losses: language. Yes, language. In spite of everything, it remained secure against loss. But it had to go through its own lack of answers, through terrifying silence, through the thousand darknesses of murderous speech. It went through. It gave me no words for what was happening, but went through it. Went through and could resurface, 'enriched' by it all

But art is eternal, for it reveals the inner landscape, which is the soul of man.

I have so much to tell you, but I can't even begin to name it. I find no words. They remain stuck in my throat and come out as sorrowful tears. You were my last dream of love. I put all hope in our togetherness. I am a laughable shadow without our intimacy. I loved and I still love you terribly, terrifyingly. I am afraid of my mind breaking. I dread not knowing where this is going to lead. I hate the need to contact you. I know I've hurt you badly, I also know you're using this against me and it's your source of closure. I wish I had the strength to not have you on my mind all the time, to not look for signs from you, to have you forget me so I too can move on... Forgive my impulses. Forgive everything I write you. I will keep you intact and unspoiled in my memory. I will immortalize this love by chaining it in my heart. It will rest there and you can be free of it.
