Seems keepin' chickens is gettin' more popular lately. Already have reservations for every pullet so far and then some.

FIVE from Tilly today. Five. Two bucklings and three doelings. Never had five born alive before. One'a the doelings is pretty small but she eats well.

One big ol' backwards buckling from Abigail this mornin'. Bucklings sure gotta be dramatic enterin' the world.

SIX kids born early this mornin'. Honey and Luna decided to kid almost at the same time. Got one of each outta Honey and two of each outta Luna. I need a nap.

Tabitha gets along with her own chickens fine, but if she tries to go near the other part of the coop, Esmeralda kicks up a REAL fuss. She's not havin' a cat near her flock. Least Tabitha's too smart to try botherin' her, Esmerelda won't care if the cat stays in her own room.

And two bucklings from Daisy. Bit disappointed but eh, it's her first year. Least I can see what her udder looks like.

Looks like we'll be havin' more baby goats tonight.
