CURRENT  ACTIVITY  STATUS:  HIATUS W/ LIMITED ACTIVITY  || I work full time  meaning I work at least 40 hours a week / 5 days a week. There are kids in my care which means I never get a day off. I’m also dealing with family issues and mental health issues. First and foremost, please understand that while I understand a lot of people have put the creator of this universe on their shit list, I really don’t give a fuck what she gets into. Her opinions are that of her own as are mine. That said, just because I still enjoy the characters from the universe she created does not mean I support her opinions about anything. So do NOT roll up on my blog policing me because I choose to RP characters from this universe. I will do as I please. These are my characters now.

Good afternoon! I'm working on homework but I realized I missed Mr. Malfoy's birthday. Granted we don't RP as Draco although we're open to interacting with him. Anyway, I'm not dead. Just been hella busy but I have a few weeks to write so I'm trying to take advantage of it.

One   of   his   least   places   to   visit   post   his   work   day   was   the   Malfoy   Manor   for   an   array   of   reasons   he   chose   not   to   dwell   upon   for   his   own   sanity.   As   it   were   though,   it   was   something   of   a   necessity   to   'check   in'   if   only   to   keep   up   appearances.   And   Severus   was   rather   good   at   that,   as   he   did   not   have   enough   emotion   in   him   to   let   slip   the   mask.   When   he   WAS   the   mask,   there   was   no   such   thing   as   a   screw   up.   Furthermore,   with   no   true   loyalty   one   way   or   the   other,   it   made   it   quite   easy   to   come   and   go.

Of   course,   there   were   a   few   nasty   matters   happening   at   the   school   that   were   beginning   to   rub   him   the   wrong   way.   While   Tom   found   Delores   amusing,   Severus   did   not   care   for   her   at   all   regardless   of   her   loyalties.   Ever   the   pompous   sadist,   Severus   would   sooner   slip   her   the   nastiest   of   poisons   if   he   did   not   think   Albus   would   frown   upon   it.   There   was   that   and   it   would   be   a   difficult   sell   to   Tom.   As   the   only   one   competent   in   potions   waltzing   about   the   school,   he   would   know   right   away   that   he'd   chosen   to   end   Delores.   Probably   not   a   good   idea   ---   at   least   until   Tom   was   done   using   her.

And   so   Severus   sat   alone   in   the   sitting   room   while   others   came   and   went.   Some   looking   rather   ashen   in   the   face,   their   features   telling   of   a   moment   gone   wrong   with   Tom.   Others,   like   Bellatrix,   paraded   about   with   the   most   annoyingly   gleeful   expressions   the   world   over.   Regardless,   Severus'   judgments   were   only   happening   on   the   inside.   Outside,   a   copy   of   the   Daily   Prophet   was   in   hand   as   he   skimmed   the   headlines.   He   had   seen   Lucius   come   and   go   a   few   times,   but   considering   he   wasn't   close   to   Tom's   favorite   chew   toy,   he   had   no   words   of   encouragement   for   one   who,   at   one   time,   looked   down   upon   Severus   anyway.

well suppose I'll address the elephant in the room.

no, i will not be using the race bent snape on this blog. as a black person myself, i think the casting of him adds an unnecessary layer of racism to the marauders (and they're already awful enough tbh). And im sure there's going to be some more fuckery in terms of casting and changes ( because LBR. this is no longer a book accurate portrayal of the books we now own. its a cash grab at the expense of kids who dont deserve the shitty backlash that's sure to come).

anyway, default canon on this blog is still books but i will accept "some" movie changes on a case by case basis. the show is currently in the darkest corner with netflix's atla show.
