You’ve all noticed by now that I’ve been MIA for the last couple of weeks, between a new full time job and the acquisition of a kitty cat there hasn’t been a lot of time, to the point that I’m going to have to cut down to two posts a week for now and those being on Monday and Friday.

I have seen, and heard of this particular movie for a very long time and many people have said I should watch it so it works out that it was one of my choices a few days ago. Now personally I’m not a huge fan of a lot of actors that have come out of Saturday Night Life after roughly the 80s or so, so I was pleasantly surprised that this movie was probably the funniest I had seen in a long time.

Another Wednesday, another movie, and another movie I really hadn’t figured I would ever see but I will admit that I am glad I saw it. Happy New Year!!! (2015 version)

Happy new year folks, I didn’t say anything last night because I really want in any kind of state to be writing… Or standing, or really moving in general.

In the past four months there have been a lot of changes, new relationship, new home, and now new year and let’s make this one as awesome as the last… Well as far as Late Night Comic is concerned.

Graphics: I can’t put my finger on it, but for some reason it looks both better and the same as the previous game, a little of that may be because I have the Xbox One version as opposed to the previous generation of consoles, and the other may be because they did manage to make it look sharper but keep the same style. Either way, I love how it looks.

Story: Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get much into the story, I got it for Christmas and while I’ve had a chance to play a bit of it, I think I spaced on the story, what I have gotten out of it is enjoyable, but even the Lego games I wasn’t too thrilled with I still loved the story. It’s simple and fun and while I haven’t been paying much attention, I still like what I’ve heard so far, mostly it involves Braniac, so that’s always fun.

Gameplay: It plays as well as any other Lego game, like I’ve said before, if it ain’t broke, why fix it, and Traveler’s Tales continues with that philosophy. The biggest change that I’ve noticed is that Batman and Robin (and I assume others) have different suits to change in to that help them tackle each level which is a plus in a way, allowing you to gather more things in a level without having to come back in free play mode after unlocking characters…you still have to but the suits help out by not needing to as often.

Sound: From the music to the voice overs it sounds wonderful…even down to the inclusion of the 60’s Batman theme at one point…well and having Adam West as a minifigure in peril you have to rescue in every level…that one I really like personally, I think it’s hilarious but that’s just me.

Replay Value: Like before, the replay value is somewhat decent if for no other reason than to unlock all the characters and all the hidden blocks.

Final Word: 5/5

It’s an amazing game, and I’m not just saying that because it was a Christmas gift, it’s fun to play, it’s funny to watch, and no matter how old you are you’ll always have fun…unless you get stuck on a level and can’t figure it out…I’m not saying that happened…but I wouldn’t deny it either.

So I could do a movie review today, but its Christmas Eve and I’d rather not, I’d rather relax and enjoy the day so on that note, I will keep this short and simple.
