(rules:
- i wonβt roleplay anything hateful. mozenrath is a character from the 90s, so there may be a few 'haha girls am i right' moments, but that and the general setting of aladdin being nonhistorical is about as much as i can tolerate.
- HOWEVER! mozenrath is an innately dysfunctional person. unhealthy interpersonal dynamics are very in-character for him. i have no problem with him being abused, please let me know if you want him to be a perpetrator so we can talk it over.
- i, the writer, am 21. i am a legal adult. my character is also of age. i prefer not to roleplay with minors given that some blogs i interact with are 18+.
- iβm open to multishipping, and cross-fandom roleplay. i may not know much about the fandom as a writer, and my character will probably know even less, but so long as iβm given notice beforehand i can improvise.
- please be aware that my jasmine is @sultansdaughter, my esmeralda is @streetwisetemptress, and my megara is @greciandamselindistress! all penned by bri who is a good friend and a very special rper to me. β₯οΈ we also love a certain up-and-comer, @princewished.)
- also please let me know before starting threads with me. chances are iβll say yes to whatever, i just want us to be on the same page.

Mozenrath is a young man, approximately 20 years old when he decides to conquer Agrabah.
He measures 6'1" and about 145 pounds. His everyday wear, blue and black regalia with dark gold trim, covers everything but his face.
His skin is naturally olive, but he has a pallor that leaves his lips bloodless and his overall tone more gray than brown. His eyes, likewise, are sunken, and his features sloping.
His hair, however, is thick and black, and forms loose ringlets down to his shoulders. His eyebrows are just as thick, and shadow a face that might otherwise betray his youth.
He's thin and tall, and has slight muscle mass evident in his shoulders. Underneath his clothes, his body hair is minimal, sparse at his chest and even sparser on the lower half of his face-- which he keeps clean-shaven.
On his right side, his arm is swollen and yellowed near his elbow-- where his skin turns a necrotic black, and then drops away to the bare bones of his right forearm and hand. He keeps the site of this wasting wrapped in bandages, and his skeletal hand hidden under a seemingly mundane leather gauntlet.
--
Mozenrath's medical prognosis, at the time he's seen in canon, is grim.
His blood pressure is dangerously low, and his pulse is faint and arrhythmic. The gauntlet sustains his soul, and animates his failing body.
But his magic cannot heal him. An injury to his right hand lead quickly to necrosis, which he's debrided to bone held together by the gauntlet itself. Sepsis rages inside his body, but he seems not to care or even visibly react.
With his gauntlet, he can outlast his own body. Without it, he's left frail and mortal, with his right arm set to fall apart at any minute.

In some timelines, Mozenrath's fate is averted.
Usually, this involves some sort of sacrifice-- either of his precious power, or his humanity. Whichever he can be convinced to let go of, for fear of losing the other.
In one dying dream, he becomes a monster. The world is not made for gargantuan, three-fingered, two-tusked creatures like him. But then, had he ever really felt at home in the Seven Deserts?
In another, he becomes a demon. His blood flows as hot, bright, and fast as molten metal, and a strange new purpose draws him away from death-- toward the salvation of both himself and a near-lost people he's never met.
And yet another sees him lost with the Princess of Agrabah, on an island across the world. Jasmine confiscates his gauntlet, and on that beach he pieces together what's left of his mortal coil.
There's even one reality where strange, Leviathan saviors whisk him from certain doom to a modern world.
