It’s a normal night at LUX, the line outside is long, the crowd inside is packed, the drinks are flowing, and all is generally well. He’s glad for it honestly, because it means while he does need to show face for at least an hour, that he doesn’t need to stay much longer than that if he doesn’t want to. He plays a song first, something easy and lighthearted that gets the crowd going, and he relishes in the attention it brings, though he does have to pull a few hands off of himself. He doesn’t mind it too much, people tended to be drawn to him, he knew that well enough by now. But still, he found himself pulling away from grabby hands and heading towards the bar.
His manager is here tonight, but right now she’s flirting with someone at the end of the bar. He unashamedly takes a moment to watch the way she leans over the bar before he walks behind it, pouring himself a drink, three fingers worth of scotch. He’s just about to down it in one gulp when he spots a new patron, and well, he does own the place, he should probably take care of the customers. “Well hello,” he greets, voice dripping with charm and too much flirtation for his own good. “what can I get you, tonight?”
It had been months since Fallon had gone out. Most definitely before her accident, maybe longer. But the brunette had finished a major report for one of the partners of the firm she worked for, and it had kept her at the building until nearly 9pm. Her sister had no problems watching Birdie for a bit longer; in fact, the older girl had almost insisted on Fallon getting out for the night. It had been too long, and the brunette knew she needed to get out and talk to somebody who wasn’t a three year old who’s conversations revolved around Paw Patrol and Powerpuff Girls.
Fallon flashed her ID and a smile to the bouncer, crossing the threshold into the building. She’d heard of LUX before, and once she’d caught wind of who owned it, she just had to drop by. As she made her way into the venue, she took in her surroundings. The place was packed; beautiful girls and devilishly handsome men filled the building’s space, the idle chatter of overlapping conversations nearly drowned out by the music. She watched a people danced, flirted, drank; something she’d spent many nights doing in New York City. Here, she felt almost out of place, and losing herself in the memory of drunken and drugged nights past.
She was pulled from her thoughts at the sound of an all-too-familiar voice. “Elias!” Fallon chirped, leaning across the bar to place her lips against his cheek in a quick peck. “What kind of prohibition are you running here?” She joked, easing herself back onto the stool at the bar. “What can you make me that tastes alcoholic, but isn’t?”

“Well, I’m Philadelphia born and raised, so it’ll always be the Birds for me,” May had never been to any fancy football parties, but Zach Ertz winked at her once- or maybe he just had something in his eye, either way she’d been smitten ever since, “Can’t say I know a lot about the parties though.”
“I heard Philly has some bomb food, though.” Fallon commented, biting into a pretzel. There was a time in her life where parties and football players and alcohol were a staple in Fallon’s life. She was sure there were photos or videos of her with players floating around their large houses somewhere on the east coast, but it seemed like so long ago. And while she’d never admit it, she missed that scene sometimes. She missed being young, partying, having nothing to care about or care fore. But she wouldn’t trade Birdie for the world. “I mean, there was a time they were my favorite part of the week. But it feels like it was a whole other lifetime ago.”

“No, no, no. I am not bored.” Fiona tried to stop herself from yawning again. “Please continue.” Although her face was telling the opposite. “I pulled an all-nighter. Clearly, a bad idea as you cansee.”
“You’re literally falling asleep in front of me, Fi.” Fallon suppressed a laugh, a smile stretching across her features. “And I’m sure talking about physical therapy is actually as boring as it sounds.”

“You should have let her go for it. It would’ve helped her immune system or something. That’s what my dad always said when I was eating dirt as a kid,” she replied with a matching laugh, her smile pulling at her lips at the mention of her father. “But yeah, fuck, food sounds good to me. We could grab something and eat while we walk through the maze or something. Unless you’re tired and ready to crash somewhere and grub.”
“Yeah, but there’s also bugs and animal poop on leaves, and I really don’t wanna have to bring my three year old to the hospital tonight.” Fallon laughed. “I think getting out of here is a good idea. My leg is bothering me and Birdie’s pretty picky about what she eats lately. Unless there’s a vendor that sells dinosaur chicken nuggets and mac and cheese, she won’t eat anything here.”
