It's been like a year since AI art has started being taken seriously and within that time it's overcome hands. technology improves faster than you think and with it improving this fast the future has endless potential to do even more with it.

not everyone has the time to check stuff with photoshop.

that includes older people and less tech-savvy people who will see a picture of something racist with a news article title and think this is real. Old people on Facebook will see something weird and take it for true

of course the same stuff about AI art taking jobs and stuff, but I already went over that in another post

Children. There were already a small group of pedophiles using AI art to generate children. this technology is fucking rotten.

It's cool and all that anyone can make a pretty picture now, but it's becoming generic and noticeable, there's no emotion, no message, no mastery of the visual medium in AI art. It's just a picture that looks good (sometimes) and that's it. I guess some people might use AI to try and generate pictures with emotion and meaning but, I'm sorry to say, the AI cannot comprehend human emotions as to imitate them, it does not know symbolism nor does it understand the many things that bring an artwork to life. It only understands [STYLE][SUBJECT][ANGLE]/Etc. I wanna rest my point with an example: Take a look at Fragonard's "The swing"

Pretty picture, aye?

On the surface it might look nothing more like a pretty picture, with a clear subject that is a girl in a swing. But Oh dear there is just so much going on besides pretty colors and plants, and so much context within this picture. I could go on a rant about its symbolism but I rather just link an article if you're interested.

Now, compare that to the AI piece of art that won a prize somewhere:

Yeah, sure, it looks pretty, but...It's as deep as a puddle. Once the impact of 'yo this looks cool' wears-off, there is nothing else left there.

All Might, and GT are always show to be exasperated when Deku goes into his long analyzations but Endeavor takes what he says seriously and processes everything and simplifies it.

He also shows a lot of respect and care towards Deku due the nature of OFA. I believe Deku reminds him of Touya so he is doing his best to not fuck it up this time.

He also manages to carefully explain things in a way that Deku can understand. All Might is very “I think you should do this. So do it!” Kinda guy. Gran Torino is a “You need to figure this out on your own” kinda guy. But it’s Endeavor’s teaching style that gets through to him. Because Endeavor figures out how Deku thinks and speaks to him at his level.

Deku manages to master Blackwhip within a week of training with Endeavor. He goes from a measly 8 percent to 30 Percent continuous use of OFA after 3 months and 45 percent on impact. That’s HUGE. Please remember he has spent 3 months with Shoto, Bakugo and Endeavor at this point in the story and Endeavor has become a very important mentor to him.

It’s not like he didn’t have the same skills back then, but only cared about himself and what he wanted. He became a good mentor when he finally put his interns’ goals in the forefront instead of his own.

And this is why it was so crucial that Shouto forced Endeavor to treat him exactly the same as the other two, instead of a son. They had to step out of the toxic dynamic to do things differently.

Except, no. Really, who makes a whole bingo chart just to shit on people who are invested into a problematic character? Nobody is talking about Enji like he is an innocent goody two shoes angel, we know that is objectively a terrible person who is now trying very hard to make up for it.

I gotta say that some of the “insults” are legitimately funny, but also wtf. “homophobic”?? “consume child porn”?? You tryna demonize people for having their own goddamn taste in fictional characters like that? For having opinions that differ from your rather narrow views?
