This is the final week to experience this full-scale re-creation of the artist’s former Chelsea apartment, where he lived for 19 years. See it before it closes Sunday May 5.

Although it represents a specific place, The Perfect Home II (2003) nonetheless challenges the concept of site-specificity. The fabric membrane is a faithful re-creation of a singular site—Do Ho Suh’s former apartment space, an ethereal edifice that contains memories of his life in New York.
