Even folks on the pro-porn side of the aisle often talk like it's the presence of narrative that makes porn an art form, as though the erotic needs to be explicitly justified in order to elevate it from the mere mechanical production of arousal, and it always makes me feel like maybe we're not quite as "pro" as we think we are.

If photography is an art (it is) and a photographer is an artist (they are) then pornographic images or other works don't have to tell a story in order to be a form of art.

We, 2 million people trapped in less than 128 km², demand that the guarantors of the ceasefire agreement inform us of the “hidden” provisions that allow Israel to continue killing us openly, day and night, without the slightest accountability or interference! Do the mediators know that “Israel” is pursuing us in the scraps of what we have left in about 35% of the land? Just tonight, it wiped out residential blocks, destroyed apartments, burned tents, killed the defenseless, and displaced hundreds of displaced families again?! If you know all of this, then this is a disaster, and if you do not know, then the disaster is greater! So tell us: What is the “margin” granted to Israel?! How many Palestinians must still be killed, and what is the price we must pay after more than 1,000 days of torment and oppression, until you decide that what is happening is called a “ceasefire farce”?!

Remember that water and shade breaks are crucial when working in the heat, and calling emergency services for signs of serious heat illness (fatigue, nausea/vomiting, headaches, dizziness, clammy skin, confusion, agitation, slurred speech, high body temperature, rapid heart rate, etc.) is entirely appropriate.
