He gets nauseous easily, then puke and he hates the feeling of that, so he started to eat less in general. Also, because of the melting, it kinda hurt to eat with the black liquid inside his mouth.

I really enjoy drawing the two of them as well. I like the pairing in general, and in many ways, they handle emotions in surprisingly similar ways. Despite all of their differences, I think there's a reason they tend to get along as well as they do.

Well, speaking of that... I ended up drawing this. The idea had been stuck in my head for quite a while, and it was something I wanted to draw at least once.

There are plenty of complicated reasons why I enjoy this duo, but honestly, part of it is simply because they're funny. Killer likes to push his luck, but he's surprisingly good at knowing where the line is, and Nightmare tends to be unusually lenient with him compared to everyone else. Of course, neither of them would ever want to admit that favoritism exists.

I actually have a lot more I'd like to say about that, but I'll save it for another time 😌 Being a pairing I'm so fond of, I've accumulated quite a few notes and interpretations about them. At the same time, there are still many aspects of them I'd like to explore further, so it doesn't quite feel organized enough to share everything yet.

That said, drawing them and thinking about them is always a lot of fun. They're characters I genuinely love, and I suspect they'll remain one of the pairings I draw most often alongside the twins. I've always had a soft spot for siblings with complicated emotions and relationships built on loyalty. I'd be happy if you continue enjoying them with me in the future.

I have just one question: Did Killer have any nicknames for Nightmare, or did he just call him Boss?

Also yes he calls him Night or moon

killer always finds it very silly when he says “boss” but he dose it just because that what nightmare ordered him to do

But with time and slowly getting to know each other and getting closer killer start to less calls him boss and more calling him knight or moon

Nope, even with color before he didn’t believe he could be in love again or he deserved it and just used it as a tool to get what he wanted

If Nightmare caught Dream getting into a fight, I think Dream would definitely be nervous. He knows that Nightmare worries about him a lot. Nightmare is always teaching him to be careful, and while Dream does listen, there are definitely times when he quietly decides that some things are probably fine anyway.

Especially when he sees a bad cat bullying other cats, Dream simply can't look the other way. He likes helping others, and honestly, he even enjoys the feeling of being praised and admired like a little hero afterward. Since Cat!Dream grows up loved and cared for by Nightmare, he doesn't develop the same sense of responsibility and self-sacrificing guilt that his original counterpart carries. Helping others comes naturally to him, not because he feels obligated to save everyone, but simply because he wants to.

Because of that, Dream doesn't back down from fights that come his way. In fact, if he feels it's necessary, he'll jump in without hesitation. Having grown up loved and cared for, Dream is confident and surprisingly decisive when it matters. So even though he knows Nightmare worries about him, he still gets involved in fights outside fairly often and keeps it a secret from Nightmare. As far as he's concerned, it's only a problem if he gets caught.

But once they're face-to-face like this, there's no way to talk his way out of it anymore. Dream is immediately struck by guilt. He doesn't regret the fight itself at all, but he does feel terrible about hiding it from Nightmare. Nightmare has always cared about him and worried about him, yet Dream ignored those concerns and kept a secret, pretending he never got into fights in the first place.

He shrinks in on himself and desperately tries to explain something to Nightmare with watery eyes, but of course Nightmare can't understand a word he's saying. Surprisingly, though, Nightmare isn't angry at all. Instead, he simply smiles softly, comforts Dream, and checks his injuries.

Dream doesn't really understand why Nightmare isn't upset, but he does understand that Nightmare still worries about him and still loves him. Even without being scolded, I think the relief alone would make Dream stop wanting to hide things from Nightmare in the future. After all, he's already experienced how awful that guilt feels.

As for Nightmare, no, he certainly doesn't like the idea of Dream getting into fights outside. At the same time, though, he's secretly proud that Dream is capable enough to stand his ground against a tough stray cat and come out on top. At least Dream isn't the one getting pushed around out there. And of course, from Nightmare's perspective, Dream being the one doing the hitting isn't really a problem at all.

He wouldn't openly praise Dream for it—he doesn't want to encourage bad habits—but he would absolutely brag about it to someone else afterward. Nightmare loves talking about Dream. He'll happily ramble on about the smallest things and turn them into stories. Granted, the person listening might not be nearly as interested as he is, but that's not exactly something Nightmare concerns himself with 😌
