Why Leshley makes SO much sense
1. They balance each other emotionally.
Leon survives through control, emotional distance, and hypervigilance. Ashley survives through connection, reassurance, and openness. She pulls him out of emotional isolation. He becomes her sense of safety in chaos.
2. Ashley sees Leon as a person before a weapon.
This matters A LOT in remake. Leon is constantly treated like competence incarnate while Ashley notices the exhausted human underneath. She checks on him, jokes with him, worries about him, thanks him. She humanizes someone who barely lets himself feel human.
3. Leon treats Ashley with respect, not control.
Despite the power imbalance, Leon never talks down to her. He protects her without stripping her agency. He explains, reassures, and listens. That creates something psychologically important: trust without infantilization.
4. Shared trauma accelerates intimacy.
People underestimate how psychologically intense surviving something horrific together is. Fear, dependency, sleep deprivation, repeated near-death experiences, mutual protection — all of that creates an emotional bond FAST. Their closeness in remake feels earned because it develops under pressure.
5. They represent what the other lacks.
Ashley reminds Leon that connection, warmth, and softness still exist after trauma. Leon gives her stability, competence, and safety when her entire world collapses.
They fit because they don’t heal each other magically (though the game suggests otherwise😜).
Yes, their dynamic has awkward moments, nervous humor, and stress. That's why it feels human. Their emotional closeness feels completely believable because it’s built on trust and genuine care. Not on manipulation, mind games, or forced drama. You can so easily see how a connection formed under that level of mutual reliance and emotional openness could grow into something serious very quickly. And that’s what builds love in real life too.
God damn 🥵❤️🔥
Leon Kennedy: surviving bioterrorism and toxic mutating grandpas since 1998
Grace makes players scream in fear. Leon makes players scream for entirely different reasons.

The way Leon looks at Ashley 🤗
What if Ashley Graham and Leon Kennedy were at Hogwarts?🤔
Ashley would be a Ravenclaw. “I have read 5 books on cursed objects and I still think this timeturner situation sucks”. She survives on intelligence, caution, and overthinking herself into a panic attack.
Leon is Gryffindor energy personified. He looks at danger like it just insulted his entire bloodline and his haircut in one sentence.
Ashley: “There’s a troll in the dungeon.”
Leon: “Perfect. I needed something to punch before breakfast.”
Yep, I'm absolutely obsessed with these two. Yep, it's the third fic with this pairing I'm working on.
Check out True Disaster
Ashley Graham moves into Leon Kennedy’s apartment for completely valid, entirely temporary reasons that no one is allowed to question.
This leads to:
• a concerning lack of boundaries,
• two people insisting they are not dating,
• and several truly terrible romantic decisions.
By the time a snowstorm traps them together, the original problem is long gone.
Everything else, unfortunately, is not.
I just wanted to tell you that I loved Beautiful lie, it was really good, I was wondering does this story has a happy ending because I love happy ending. Also for Chapter 4 will we see Leon or does he appear afterwards.
Please take care of yourself, your notes scares me, I wanted you enjoyed writing and not feel like it’s a chore. Take lots of breaks and no rush.
Thank you so much, this really means a lot to me 💛 I’m so glad you enjoyed this work!
And don’t worry! I’m absolutely with you, I hate unhappy endings too, so you’re safe here. As for Leon… you will be seeing him pretty soon.😉
Also, that’s really kind of you to say about taking care of myself. I do genuinely enjoy writing. Well, maybe a little too much. Once I get started, I kind of become… possessed 😄 But in a good way, I swear. Still, I’ll try to behave and take breaks.
Thank you again for your support, it really keeps me going 💛

I just think these two would get on like a house on fire. They’d bond over a bar fight and dumb jokes
These two! 😍😍😍
okay so, i haven't drawn in like a year because of art block, BUT this fic by @fairybellworld is literally my fav thing at the moment and i had to draw SOMETHING!
There's this scene where Leon sees a picture of Ashley after seven years and LET ME TELL YOU, the way his first thought is "God, she was beautiful." wrecked me! i tried my very best to attempt to capture that, even with my art skills not being the best at the moment!
please check out their fic -> HERE!!!!!!!
I’m honestly overwhelmed in the best way possible! This is the first time someone has made art inspired by my fic, and it means more than I can put into words. Thank you @thequeen-crimson ❤❤❤
Just found out my work got bookmarked as “leon kennedy’s worst puns” and i’m actually crying laughing 😭 Like yes. GOOD. That’s exactly what i was going for. I regret nothing and I will absolutely do it again.
Hey there, Lashley stans!🤗 Made a cover for my fic.

Any Leshley fans out here?😏
I'm working on a new fic. Check it out here
Daryl Dixon and his supposed "happy ending"
So this guy goes through two whole seasons in France, meets a bunch of new people, tries to settle in, but, in true Daryl fashion, nothing works out quite the way you'd hope. So, what does he get in the end? It's almost like... is this guy cursed?
First, he makes friends with some of the French resistance fighters and the people he meets along the way. And we think, hey, maybe this is a shot at a new crew. But, in typical Walking Dead style, they pretty much all end up dead or disappearing. Like, Daryl can't catch a break—it's the same story as always, just with a French accent.
Then there's Laurent. You get a little taste of him stepping in as a mentor, and it honestly starts to feel like they’re setting him up to become a father figure. For once, you think maybe Daryl’s gonna have some sort of family, or at least someone to look after in a real, lasting way. But nah—Laurent leaves with Ash, and that potential family bond just slips away. Another one bites the dust.
And don't even get started on romance. There’s this slow-burn thing with Isabelle, and Daryl even lets his guard down for her, which is pretty huge for him. And then, guess what? Isabelle’s gone too. Just like that, no romance, no love, no new connection there either.
So where does that leave Daryl? No peace, no family, no love, no “happy ending” in the way we’d normally think about it. Someone might say that maybe Daryl's ending is just about him finally being okay with the fact that he’s always been a lone wolf, a drifter.
I don't buy it! For a guy who used to be all about being alone, he actually struggled so hard to find his place with other people. It wasn’t easy for him to open up, but we watched him do it bit by bit, learning to be a part of the group, finding family with people like Rick, Carol and Judith. He went from the lone wolf to someone who needed to be needed. The guy doesn’t just want connections anymore—he needs them. It’s like he finally got a taste of what it’s like to have people, to care and be cared about, and he realized that’s what he’s been missing all along. And after everything he’s been through, it just feels unfair. Like he’s so close to finding something real and lasting, but it always slips through his fingers.
So what’s left for him? Just this endless cycle of trying, losing, and being left alone again. And I’m scared that’s how it’s going to end for him: just getting on a boat, drifting back to America, back to what he knows, with nothing to show for it. And after everything he’s been through, after all the growth and change, it’s hard not to feel like he deserves better than that. But I’m afraid he’s never going to find it.
