Caden was conceived through IVF and has no idea how his father is like. Coming from a single parent household with a gay mom has never really bothered Cade, though sometimes he does feel like he has to work harder than the other kids.

Caden is a guy people tend to loathe or admirer, purely because of his natural talent at everything. He plays soccer, football, he swims competitively and he's president of the National Honors Society. He loves the attention he gets from students and teachers alike because of it.

It's not a question of whether or not Caden is going to an Ivy, it's a question of which Ivy League college he's going to. He's considering studying Biomedical Engineering in college, but his ultimate goal and dream is to make it as a big soccer star.

Cade is a big animal lover though, and while he splurges and lives his lavish lifestyle, he always sets aside money for animal charities. He has a Siberian Husky called Rocco, a kitten called Minnie and a snake called Nina.

INTELLIGENT

That really puts the "dumb jock" stereotype down, doesn't it? Caden is an incredibly smart individual, it comes partly from studying hard but also his natural ability to understand concepts very quickly. He uses this to his advantage, especially when it comes to getting laid. Girls like smart guys.

CHARMING

He is arguably one of the most charming guys in the school, he has a way with words that can make most girls' knees buckle and they'll be putty in his hands. He knows what to do and how to impress people and he's the favourite among teachers and even papers because, really, on paper Caden LaCroix is damn near perfect.

PERFECTIONIST

Caden has a strict regime that he follows daily in order to keep up. He's an incredibly hard working individual who often sets (high) standards for himself and his work. He's pretty much the kind of person that, if he wants anything important done, he'll do it himself for fear of other people completely fucking it up.

Facts

Sapphire is the second daughter, but first adopted child, though is often always the one looking out for all her siblings. Her real mother was a teenager when Saph was born, and since her father fled, she was financially unable to look after Sapphire. So when Izzy heard her story, the Macherlas took her in and adopted her

Speaking of her birth mother, in recent weeks her birth mother has tried reaching out to her but Sapphire is someone who avoids difficult decisions or difficult settings as much as possible, she does not feel emotionally ready to meet her birth mother.

She doesn't sing – she definitely doesn't have a voice like Indie. However, she does play piano and has been playing ever since she was five. However, her passion lies more with fashion and modelling and has been doing small campaigns and photoshoots for her mother. But she wishes to delve into the lingerie side of things, though her parents disapprove.

Sapphire maintains a strict diet, she doesn't just eat anything as much as she wants to. She counts calories, maintains a rigorous exercise (she's a cheerleader, but also on the track team). Though, once in a while she does like to binge on burgers and cakes.

Personality

AMICABLE

She's a social butterfly and thoroughly enjoys being in the company of others. She's the girl that will pull you to the middle during a school dance and make you dance with her even though nobody else is dancing, she prides herself in being an approachable person and is often kind to most people.

OPTIMISTIC

One talent Sapphire possesses is her ability to look at the world through rose tinted glasses, she's very much a glass half-full kind of person and sees an opportunity in everything. She's the person you'd want to come to when you're feeling low and need a pep-talk, but in the same way she can be incredibly naive.

IMPULSIVE

Often Sapphire does things with very little thought or consideration for the consequences of her actions. It often lands her in very hot water (and a few times has landed her in police custody). She usually justifies most things with a shrug and accompanying, "I just felt like it."

IRRESPONSIBLE

FUCK YEAH IT’S ZACH’S 18TH BIRTHDAY!

It’s the 15th of August again and every teen in Fairmont knows what that means... it’s Zach’s 18th birthday! So take out your best swimwear and show off your beach body as the King is having the party at their beach house in Malibu today. Everyone in the Fairmont’s elite circle is invited, even some of the famous celebrities. But that doesn’t mean Dottie can’t invite her own friends too. 

While a Kingsley bash, especially one by Zach himself, is expected to be wild and out of this world, the party is more low-key than usual favors due to the fact his parents (more specifically his mom) have no idea about it. The only rule is to not get into too much trouble that would garner attention, but when opportunities are so easily available, that's easier said than done

It’s now 10 o’clock in the evening and the party is already on place. Some people dance around at the techno music the DJ is playing while some are just hanging out at the bonfire. If you’re looking for a drink, there’s an outdoor mini bar that serves every beverage from bottled water to alcohol.

Facts

Even though it’s quite obvious that Zach got all of his features from his father, most people say he’s much more like a male version of his mother. Aside from both being part of the school’s royalty, he also isn’t fond of losing and does whatever it takes to get what he wants.

Zach’s interest in sports began when he used to play soccer and basketball with his uncles and cousins during weekends. He had shown great skill and agility at an early age which is why it wasn’t surprising that he soon joined the academy’s basketball team in his elementary year and the soccer team in his sophomore year where he bagged numerous MVP titles and championship trophies for the school.

Aside from sports, Zach is very much in love with the beach. He loves everything about it -- the waves, the golden sand, the salty seawater smell and the majestic sunset view. Whenever he’s feeling stressed or down, you could always find him on the beach surfing or just chilling out. 

Even though his father expects him to be the heir of their family’s hotel business, he considers on following his mother’s footsteps and join the show business in the future. But for now all he wanted to do after graduation is to travel the world and party.

CHARISMATIC

Despite his abrasive personality, Zach knows how to capture one’s heart and make you fall in love with him in a heartbeat. Incredibly charming and very good with words, he can charm his way out of any trouble or use it for his own advantage. He doesn’t need to attract women though, they come to him. Always. 

DETERMINED 

Once Zach has set his eyes on something/someone he likes, he’ll do whatever it takes just to get it. He doesn’t give up easily and losing isn’t in his vocabulary. 

COCKY

Being the most popular guy in school, it wan’t surprising that Zach thinks highly of himself.   He has got this big ego and takes pride in everything he do all the time. He thinks he's best in everything and makes you believe it. Eventhough he needs it, don't even try deflating his ego because he doesn't take it very well, especially with rejection.

When Indie was young, her mother used to tell her bedtime stories about fairytales (also sometimes her parents’ own love story) and taught her that true love and happy endings exist. This has made Indie grow up as an idealist who’s always looking for love and as they say, a ‘serial dater’, as she has been in different relationships and tend to fall in and out of love quite easily.

Like her father, Indie has a passion for music and was born with an amazing voice. She’s very insecure about her voice though, which is why she doesn’t prefer singing in public. She writes songs through her emotions, most especially after breakup or when she’s deeply in love with someone. Which is why most of her songs are mostly about her previous relationships.

After dating the most eligible hotties around the campus since first year, she has been known to be the ‘It girl’ of the academy as girls either want to be her or are jealous of her.

Indie is a sucker for coffee. She wouldn’t last a day without at least taking a sip of her favorite espresso drink. It keeps her focused and energized all day long. She also has a soft spot on animals, especially dogs. She loves taking care of them as she finds them adorable and stress relieving. In fact she owns 4 dogs – a Great Dane, an Australian Shepherd mix, a Labrador mix and a Pomeranian.

IDEALISTIC

Since she was a little girl, Indie has already dreamed of her perfect man, perfect wedding and perfect life. But every time she thought she found the ‘right’ person, they weren’t what she thought they would be. Even though she’s been in a lot of relationships already before, it doesn’t stop her from dreaming and believing that she’d find that one true love that will last for a lifetime.

LAIDBACK  

Indie is more of a chill, easygoing, ‘go with the flow’ type of girl. You wouldn’t see her stressing on things that don’t really matter. She also doesn’t like starting or getting into fights or confrontations and can come across as passive sometimes. Normally if people throw shade at her she’d just brush it off unless they really did something wrong or her patience has already reached it’s limit.

INSECURE  

Despite being idolized by many girls in her school, Indie is mostly not that confident about herself. She thinks that she’s not good enough, especially when it comes to her music and her voice.

For as long as he can remember, Clay has had the pressure of his father’s name on his shoulders. It’s always been his father’s dream for him to go to Brown, just as he had, but Clay has always had a nagging doubt that he would ever be able to live up to his father’s expectations.

Clay managed to gain one thing from his father; his unmatched intelligence. He knows how to do some weird shit - he was able to compose music when he was eight years old, and was reading chapter books while other kids were struggling to learn basic sentences. That being said, he’s always felt like he stuck out too much because of his knowledge, and began trying to blend in at a young age.

Clay found his footing in high school when he joined the soccer team. There he made a great deal of friends and became more ‘in’ with the popular crowd as the guy who broke the ice and cracked dumb jokes. He’s less cliquey than some of his friends, though, he finds it easier to socialize with everyone.

In spite of his cousin’s binge drinking and drug smoking habits, Clay actually surprisingly has done nothing more than kick back a few beers. He hasn’t dared touch drugs because of the way it could impact his position on the soccer team, and always puts the team before himself

Personality

DEDICATED

Clay knows that comes first, and that’s family. He ensures that when he makes commitments to them, he’s there to hold them up, and that’s something that he makes a point to keep going until he finishes the job or reaches a point where he (albeit grudgingly) has to ask for help.

PASSIONATE

When Clay cares about something, he cares pretty deep. He’ll stick with friends through and through until the end simply because he knows that above all else, friends and family come first. When he puts his time and effort into something, there’s very little chance that you’ll see him giving up on it any time soon — if ever.

STUBBORN

The boy has a one track mind, and when he wants something, he does everything he can to get it or make it happen. He doesn’t like just sitting back and letting other people walk all over him; he’d rather fight for what he wants and stand his ground than let someone have their way.

Gwen has never known the identity of her father; her mother has kept it from her since she was a child and has never revealed it to her for whatever reason. Gwen suspects that it has something to do with her previous plans to hunt him down and raise some hell, but she has yet to prove that.

Sam Lopez made a brief but meaningful appearance in Gwen’s childhood, acting like a surrogate father to her until his relationship with her mother ran its course. When he walked out on Gwen and Liese, it shattered Gwen’s trust in men

As Gwen made her way into her teenage years, she became more and more rebellious. Whether her acting out is a cry for help or for attention has yet to be figured out by most people, but for Gwen herself, she uses partying and being rebellious as a way to distance herself emotionally from others she feels she can’t trust.

In recent months, Gwen has allowed herself to get a little bit out of hand. Over the summer she spent a little stint of time in the hospital after having to have her stomach pumped. She was warned by her doctors to take it easy and stop her partying ways, but that’s hardly put a damper on Gwen’s plans.

INDEPENDENT

Though she’s cold and isolated, Gwen also has a solid sense of independence. Because it’s always been her and her mom on their own, her father missing most of her life, Gwen has been looking out for herself while her mother works and takes care of everything that Gwen was too young to worry about. She took it upon herself to develop herself as a person, and has even become fairly financially stable by getting a job of her own to help her mother out.

CONFIDENT

Gwen knows better than anyone else that there is a single truth in this world: that she is the shit. She knows she looks damn good, she knows she can do whatever she wants, and she takes advantage of these facts. She’s not one to shy away from you because she’s insecure, but she’ll be the one saying ‘well, duh’ if you tell her she looks nice today.

TEMPERAMENTAL

Gwen is one hell of an emotional individual, and she tends to let that get in the way of her thinking more often than she’d like to admit. When she’s angry, she’s livid, and when she’s upset, it can send her spiraling into a deep depression. She lets her emotions control a good portion of the decisions that she makes, and unfortunately, it causes a good deal of destruction in her personal relationships.

Facts

Growing up in the Dupont household, he was raised to be polite and courteous to others. He’s always been a quiet fellow, the type of kid who would nervously hide behind his mother’s leg when first introduced.

When he was younger, he used to be incredibly into soccer and loved playing the sport. He was lucky enough that his father would buy World Cup tickets for the whole family so they could experience those matches. While he still loves the game, he isn’t as invested in becoming a huge soccer star like he dreamed of being. 

Nate’s a huge fan of volunteer work. He’s president of the Key Club and is constantly volunteering at animal and homeless shelters. Every summer he does an annual trip with Habitat for Humanity where he builds houses in South America. 

After school when he doesn’t have any club activities, he works at his grandmother’s coffee shop. He can make one damn fine cup of coffee. He’s got a couple of regular middle aged women customers; some come for the coffee, most come for the view of him.

Personality

EMPATHETIC

Nate has always been quite considerate and able to understand other’s perspectives. For anyone who needs it, he provides not only a shoulder to lean on and bear your burdens but also does his best to give practical and useful advice.

RELIABLE

If you need any help, Nate is your guy. He’s always there to lend a helping hand whether it’s giving you a ride from a party or tutoring you in math. Sometimes people tend to take advantage of his kindness, but it hasn’t stopped him from being a dependable guy.

MEEK

Ever since he was little, Nate has always been a quiet child who tried his best to please others. It’s not too surprising that people try to take advantage of him, getting him to do their homework or assigned tasks. He has a hard time saying no to others.

Facts

Chloe is very close with her family, including her grandparents. It was her grandmother who sparked her love for fashion, and she plans on interning at her grandmother’s New York fashion studio when she’s old enough. 

When she was seven, her mother entered her in the Little Miss Fairmont pageant competition which Chloe won. It was from that moment that Chloe began competing in beauty pageants. She still competes from time to time and though she claims she doesn’t take it as seriously as she used to, other pageant girls will tell you otherwise. 

Chloe tried out for basketball in eighth grade on a dare. She found out she was surprisingly good at the sport and made the team. She’s been playing the game ever since despite - as she puts it - “the tacky uniforms” and “getting sweaty”.

With her vivacious personality, it's not much of a surprise that she tends to hang out with popular kids. She can be seen frequenting parties if she's not throwing one at her place. Sure, she may get in a little trouble with her parents, but being told her party was "crazy amazing" is worth it.

BUBBLY

It’s not uncommon to run into Chloe with a smile on her face and surrounded by friends. She’s constantly lively, able to start a conversation with just about anyone at the drop of a hat.

OPTIMISTIC

The girl tends to believe in the best of people and situations. She believes that if one thinks positive, one will receive positive energy. Chloe likes to give people the benefit of the doubt, even when things seem pretty bleak. But fair warning, once someone crosses that trust, they rarely ever gain it back.

DITZY

Chloe finds herself in the position of being easily distracted and bored, especially when it comes to schoolwork. She also has the tendency of saying whatever first pops into her head which makes other find her to be quite scatterbrained.

Facts

As a child Avery was very much the spitting image of her father, despite her quiet demeanor. If not for her sharp cheekbones and blue eyes her love of mischief and soccer are telltale giveaway. She spent a moderate amount of her class time in detention for ‘doing things she shouldn’t be’, and being 'discourteous’ to her classmates.

With her Father being a professional soccer player much of Avery’s early memories are from her mother’s arms cheering on her father. When she grew older and was able to walk, her father placed a soccer ball in front of her which sparked the same love for soccer her father has.‏‎

Her mother’s cystic fibrosis worsened when Avery was 13, and to cope with the stress and anxiety, Avery picked up boxing. She found herself herself helping out her father more and splitting time between soccer, boxing, homework, and hospital visits. When Avery was 15 her mother passed away and she struggled to cope, taking a year and a half before she finally opened up and let others in.‏‎

Avery usually isn’t the most popular amongst her peers due to her rants on feminism, love for riling others up, and otherwise 'intimidating’ demeanor (which is really just her driving a motorcycle and her competitiveness in boxing and soccer). Though, much like her mother she enjoys the solitude even if she’s not as 'invisible’.‏‎

Personality

AMBITIOUS

Once Avery sets her mind to something she /will/ get it done. Especially if it’s proving her point to someone or fighting for what she believes in. While this does not always apply to her academics, her ambition makes her a hardworker. Trying to stop Avery once she sets her mind on something is fruitless‏‎.

CONFIDENT

Despite what many may think Avery has always struggled being super confident with herself. Much of it had to do with her questioning her sexuality throughout her early teenage years. It was only after she picked up boxing and learned to cope with her mother’s death that she truly became confident in herself.

PROVOCATIVE

Like father like daughter, Avery does enjoy riling others up. Something about pissing other people off has always been a hobby of hers. Often her friends are the victims of this trait, though many learn to not take the bait (not to say Avery hasn’t found ways around this.) She more often than not loves playing the devil’s advocate in class discussions and calling people out when she sees fit.

ALOOF

Facts

Gracie was born and raised (mostly) in New York by a single father. She grew up in a strange and exciting environment surrounded by lots of talented people (famous and otherwise), attending awards ceremonies and the like with her father. She has little interest in music beyond a varied taste in what she listens to - much to her father's dismay. 

A new addition to Fairmont, Gracie moved with her father and step mother only a couple of months ago following her father's retirement from music and the establishment of her stepmother's new design firm.

A bright student with a lot of potential, however she is more focused on having fun: parties, boys, girls and recreational drugs. She does however, adore reading and writing and excels in her English and Literature classes. over the years, she has amassed a wide and varied collection of books fit for a small library. her other massive collection? Fashion.

Grace has battled an eating disorder (bulimarexia) on and off for many years. This is part of the reason her father decided to move them to Fairmont and away from New York where he had less control over her.

Personality

INDEPENDENT

Both in thinking and in terms of reliance, Grace is pretty independent. with her father often in the studio or at business meetings, Gracie was often left to take care of herself and make her own entertainment, which she was more than happy to do.

ZEALOUS

Sometimes overly so, Gracie is an enthusiastic, passionate person. A lively girl who is always up for anything, she seems to have endless reserves of physical, mental and emotional energy. She'll be the first person to suggest an adventure and the last person to leave a party early.

CAPRICIOUS

When she's high, she's high and when she's low, she's low. Unpredictable is something that is synonymous with the teen and it isn't always a fun thing. She can become catty or irritated when things don't go the way she had planned on when she is kept waiting for someone or something, which is certainly down to her being incredibly impatient at times: she's highly punctual and expects everyone else to be as well.

IMPULSIVE

Facts

Luca has had guitar lessons since he was about seven and writes music in his spare time (aka: whenever he’s in class and not sleeping). He has been thinking about starting a band but doesn't want to let people down if nothing comes of it.

After a lot of pleading with his mother, he finally got an Italian greyhound as his eighteenth birthday present. Bella is his baby and no one can tell him otherwise.

Luca's not a dealer, but if you wanna get it, he’s your boy. He's always carrying a baggie and papers on him and being the generous guy that he is, is always willing to share.

Luca has been caught a handful of times in possession (and clearly hasn't learned anything from it). Still, having well connected parents does wonders. It might not be the same now that he's 18 if he does get caught again, but that has yet to occur.

Personality

COMPASSIONATE

Considerate and kind, Luca often finds himself deeply impacted by the goings on of the world around him. He's a pretty gentle soul and has a great capacity to feel and display sympathy and empathy. He’s very in-tune with the feelings of others and incredibly weary of hurting them.

HELPFUL

Always one to help wherever he can, Luca is a people-pleaser. he drives friends places, fixes things and is always around to lend an ear. He finds it difficult to say no to someone, even when he might want to.

LAZY

When it comes to school, Luca could not be more opposite than his helpful self. He's highly unmotivated and of the opinion that to play music, he doesn't need to pay much attention in school. His grades are below par but he's just after the paper that the art schools he wants to go to require him to have.
