Instead of using the same tired jokes over and over again, you get C/W being genuinely insulted that 'Timmy' would dare call the other something that they clearly aren't. Add that to the torture he put them through that day, and it would break the camel's back much more effectively. -🔮🦋

Why does nobody talk about this episode?? I get that there are other bad eps (Wishful Life, Lights Out, CSS yada yada) but this one takes the cake as my least favorite FOP episode of all time. Heck, it's my least favorite episode of any show I've ever seen.

There's no point to this at all! No plot, no moral, no setting (it's in the Turner house the entire time), no funny jokes. Just Timmy, Cosmo, Mr. Turner, and Crocker complaining about women while also acting incredibly OOC and unbelievably stupid. That's it, that's the entire episode. It's like they took Love Struck and went "hmm, let's get rid of every good thing about this special and pump up everything people didn't like about it!"

Most painful 11 minutes of my life.

I know, I know, I can hear the riots from a mile away. My main point is that Cosmo and Wanda don't need to be portrayed as a sickeningly-sweet couple all the time. That would actually get annoying after a while. Real couples have fights sometimes, and that's okay! No relationship is perfect.

That being said, they were so many moments where they took it way too far. Coswan can argue occasionally, but if the audience starts questioning why they're married, or asks "Why don't they just get a divorce?", it's time to stop.

Here's what I mean:

Good example: Just Desserts, when Cosmo warned Timmy about making a dessert wish, and Wanda yelled "Nobody gives a hoot about [Cosmo's] opinion!" That one, to me, has some basis: Wanda wants chocolate. Chocolate will make her crazy. Cosmo is rightfully concerned. Wanda gets mad because her husband's trying to stop her from getting chocolate. Justifiable.

Ehh: New Squid in Town - "I can't send [Mark] to be killed!" "Or worse! Married!" Cosmo could easily be referring a marriage with Mandie specifically, but considering the other jokes that episode made, we can't be sure.

Bad example: Teeth for Two. Those jokes were all over the place, and none of them were good. I'll just pick one: Cosmo counting the years he's been married down to the minute, then going "who's counting every second they're not married to the Tooth Fairy?" And the Tooth Fairy showing up a second later and he immediately starts drooling over her... in front of his wife... ughhhhh I can't watch this episode anymore it painnns me.

Anyway, New Wish struck a balance, and I like that it fixed the mistakes the OG made :) - 🔮🦋

Also when people say that Poof and Sparky weren't in the time capsule picture at the end. Of course they weren't! Even in-universe, that picture was taken before they were around!
