Here’s a story about something I experienced with a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago:

My friend and I were going to the park near my house where we encountered a friendly feminine energy before. My friend brought her pendulum to ask the spirit some questions. When went back there, the energy we encountered before wasn’t present. Instead, I felt a masculine energy standing behind me. It was very curious and went to us and answered the questions we asked via pendulum.

After a while I felt the presence of the feminine energy, the one we met a few weeks before that, whom we also asked a few questions. But something wasn’t right. I looked to my left and I saw a tall white figure with a blackish ‘aura’ in a building a few meters away. It was staring at me and my friend. Then it started to get even weirder:

My friend told me she saw the reflection of a face in the water, it looked white with blackish circles for eyes and a blurry mouth. I couldn’t see it at first, but then I saw it too. I got goosebumps and started to feel very uncomfortable. Then my friend had the feeling that the tall white figure started to move the pendulum instead of the spirits we asked. We decided to leave and asked the two spirits to guide us to the exit of the park, to make sure we would not be followed by the negative presence. When were almost at the exit of the park, I felt like the tall white figure had left the building and I was right. All of a sudden my friend felt its energy on her legs and she told it to let go. We made it out of the park okay, and made sure the negative presence wasn’t coming along with us.

After all of this, my friend told me she thought the negative energy might have been “touching” her legs as a sign that it didn’t want us to leave, and she told me the masculine energy and the figure were connected which she found out with the pendulum. That’s maybe why the figure went after us when the masculine energy guided us.

For Some Halloween Fun! ♡

This is one of the first bits of witchcraft I learned, passed down to me from a more experienced witch (and also my first private flute teacher ;]) We had been discussing how I would get a better instrument to play, as I had outgrown mine, and she taught me a simple bit of (what I now know to be) magic to get the universe to provide.

The first step is to enter a meditative state. Find a quiet space and get comfortable, breathe deep, and relax your body and mind. You’ll know you’ve reached this state because you feel a sort of… floatiness. I find this state easiest to reach just before falling asleep.

The next step is to project. You should envision yourself leaving your bed/chair/floor/wherever you got comfortable, through the roof, up above the building, the lights, the trees, the clouds… all the way into the universe. This is the trickiest step to master, and is even harder to achieve if you’re not fully calm. Make sure to relax into the projection - don’t fight it.

In Aggie Cromwell’s words, the next step is to “picture what you want, and let yourself have it!“ Envision what you want to bring to your life (a job interview, a new flute, new friends, etc.), bring the desire into yourself, let it flow through you and envelope you completely.

Finally, once you feel you have been successful, return your astral self to your body and come out of your meditative state. If you do this often enough, you may just find you get exactly what you desire!

Aries: black or red baby!!! Or if you’re a hippie Aries you got dreads and bob marley shit

Taurus: CHANEL CHANEL CHANEL. Or a drug rug

Gemini: checkered print vans, hounds tooth, plaid. Any kind of pattern doesn’t matter.

Cancer: hoodies, sweats, sequins. It’s like comfortability and glamour all in one but not in a good way

Leo: we got heels, low cut tops, gold jewelry, designer pajamas…etc

Virgo: KATE SPADE, Michael kors. Clean lines. Simplicity.

Libra: faux furs on faux furs. Also comfortabilty.

Scorpio: kinda like Virgo but also will dress like a dominatrix for brunch

Sagittarius: goodwill has everything you need baby

Capricorn: Grays, blacks, sharp edges. Something that says “if you ain’t talking business I don’t want to talk”

Aquarius: tie-dye ! ! Moccasins, plugs, a mysterious cloud of smoke that follows them everywhere

By Tess Whitehurst - October 31st is not just Halloween. It’s also Samhain: an ancient sabbat and powerful point on the wheel of the year.

Divinatory and protective practices connected with this time abound, as does lore about the realm of the dead and the realm of the Fae.

Here are 10 such beliefs:

Spirits and fairies walk among us - At Samhain, the veil between the worlds lifts, which means all usually unseen creatures are free to dwell in our human realm.

Dressing up like an animal or a fearsome creature may trick the fairies into not kidnapping you - If you would prefer not to be kidnapped by a fairy, this gives you one more reason to dress up for Halloween.

Jack-O-Lanterns help guide lost spirits to the light - No matter what vegetable was employed to create Jack-O-Lanterns (they were originally made from things like turnips and beets), their flickering light was said to guide trapped or gloomy spirits into a brighter and happier realm.

A bonfire will protect you from unfriendly fairies and ghosts - As such, many ancient peoples in the British Isles lit a bonfire in the center of town, at the edges of crops, and near their homes.

Thoroughly cleaning and tidying your home will help welcome in beloved deceased ancestors and friends - Burn some sweetgrass and copal incense afterwards for extra magical power.

Two sticks of rowan tied together to form an equal-armed cross will protect you from fairies - Red thread is apparently the best thing with which to tie them.

A bat in your house means a ghost got in - On Samhain, a bat in the house means at least one ghost is probably in there too.

Two nuts, thrown in a fire, can provide romantic insight - First, name the nuts after yourself and your partner. Then throw them in the Samhain fire. If they burn brightly, expect a happy relationship. If they don’t ignite, it’s a sign of future unhappiness. Or if they jump apart, separation (or at least acrimony) may be in your future.

A pair of shoes over a house on Samhain will reveal future travel plans - In short, you’ll know by the direction the toes are pointing.

Seeing a spider on Samhain means you have a loyal ally in the realm of the dead. Whether it’s a friend, a close family member, or a more ancient ancestor, seeing a spider is a message that someone on the other side is looking out for you.
