But the one who answered wasn't his god.
A vampire found him dying and offered him a second chance at life. Clementine accepted, knowing that becoming immortal was considered a sin by his faith.
He awoke as a Dhampir.
Now, Clementine walks the line between light and darkness—a Cleric of the Light Domain who carries the very curse his church once taught him to fear.
He doesn't know why the vampire saved him.
