The Rookie

Gadget is a wolf, which means he’s mostly carnivorous.

Those fangs may look cute, but the rest of this teeth are just as sharp.

It was indeed Angel island, and the wolf would find himself in the middle of a thick jungle. But a loud crashing boom suddenly shook the ground and indicated something amiss in the paradise around him. A grating electronic noise soon followed and several trees in front of Gadget abruptly went up in flames before exploding! Burning debris flew and scattered all around him as more crashing and booming resumed. The noise was getting closer and closer until a huge mechanical being emerged from the thick clouds of smoke. It had the appearance of a black scorpion and was continuing to burn through trees around Gadget with it’s laser equipped stinger. It was preoccupied with destroying the jungle, only until it noticed the small wolf. Then it locked it’s eyes right on him and swung one of it’s giant pincers at him, attempting to grab and slice him in two with it’s claws lined with spinning serrated blades!

Gadget cried out in shock as that loud boom suddenly echoed out, his long ears pinning to his head as the ground shook. As the trees in front of him caught fire he’d stumble back, shielding his face as they exploded. Luckily enough nothing hit him. He’d look back up as the black scorpion robot emerged. Looking the robot over he began to devise a stradegy. Obviously this thing was meant to be around fire, so fire wispon was out. He doubted electricity would be much help either unless it’s power source was exposed, and coming in close was a death sentence with those claws.

Gadget had thought it would’ve been for the best if he practiced using the phantom ruby. Given the experience gap between himself and infinite, it was probably for the best for him to get some training in case they ran into each other again.

“Hey everybody, it’s ya boi, Gadget.” The wolf starts, before promptly doubling over in laughter over how stupid he sounds.
