“Shhh!” She reached her hand out for him to come closer. Bekka wanted it quiet, Dimitri would be speaking ever so softly just above a whisper to her right about now but these other guys were just not caring about the volume in the room. O’Hara spoke up, “It’s a boy, Momma. Worrying won’t help anything so please don’t. He’s okay right now.” She said as she worked quickly with the staff to get the best chance and care for the premature newborn. Bekka’s body basically felt like it collapsed. Her breathing was heavy and her heart rate was fast so O’hara administered some more Valium for Bekka before she delivered the placenta. “So which of you guys want to eat this, or are you sharing?” O’hara asked she seen how Bekka was moving on so quickly with these guys that had been on the back burner for a while and she was mad because she liked Dimitri he was her friend. Bekka looked around as if she was waiting for Dimitri to tell her she did good… but she didn’t do good because their baby was born very early. “He was right,” Bekka shrugged with teas in her eyes. “Dimitri said– he said that it was boy. We didn’t know. but somehow how he just knew.” Like he did. Some how he just knew things or used to….
“People actually eat that crap?” When she pulled it out he almost vom. Ezra was sure what to say and it was all a lot for him just walking in here not knowing what was going on he thought he’d get her mind off it. “I’m glad you’re alright Aggie I seen on the news something happened at the station. Hey What about that police car they found this morning With the dead cop was that a car accident or what? seems silly was they going to get donuts before anyone else?” he was terrible at making her feel better.
