One of Lufthansa's few older livery 747-400s Departing on LH471 to Frankfurt (FRA). I actually saw "Tango Kilo" in San Francisco two months before this sighting at Toronto. Considering the Lufthansa 747-400s are supposed to be retired next year, any chance to see them is an exciting opportunity. (July 12, 2026)

"Where Focus Goes, energy flows." - Tony Robbins. Famed author and motivational speaker Tony Robbins' on his Boeing 737-700BBJ with the notable "TR" Departing to Vancouver (YVR). This 737 makes visits every now and then to Van Nuys, and it is always entertaining to see someone of Tony's status using an aircraft like this. (August 8, 2026)

The main highlight of this JFK visit: Lufthansa's A340-600. With the A340-600 scheduled to be retired in October of this year. This sighting came not a moment too soon. Anyways here is LH401 Rolling down 22R for Takeoff back to Frankfurt (FRA). (July 14, 2026)

As a commemoration of Air Canada's 2026 Employees Excellence Award. One of their 777-300ERs has a special "Employees Excellence Awards" Livery with 50 names on the tail, all of them top-performing employees. That 777 is seen here Departing on a last minute equipment swap on AC42 to Delhi (DEL). (July 11, 2026)

One of the more anticipated sightings at Toronto. Air Serbia's A330-200 Operating JU509 Departing to Belgrade (BEG) with famed Serbian engineer "Nikola Tesla" on the tail. This A330-200 was a common visitor to LAX when flying for Aeroflot as VP-BLY. (July 11, 2026)
